Pages is working fine for me, but there is a thread about it in the El Cap forum and apparently my experience is not universal. The share menu doesn't work though, but this occurred in Yosemite as well.

And you mean Pages 09, not the "new" and "improved" version of Pages that stripped out the DTP side of Pages '09, right? It's that DTP side that matters most, so I need the former version of Pages to work well or I have to consider making a separate boot drive of the "as is" before considering this OS X upgrade. Thanks for any clarification.

I wonder if Public Beta testers will get the release build.

If you follow the link in the story it takes you to the info page, then click the link there and it takes you to the App Store page. Click the Download button there and it asks you if you wan to download it since you already have El Capitan. I said yes and it is downloading to the /Applications folder. (Gonna put it on a memory stick and clean install.)

Is this the same as the latest public beta build?

If so its the worst version I have tested of all the betas. My iCloud folders are crashing constantly.

It's up, I had to search "el capitan" though.

Good advice, thanks from The UK

5 minutes in and had 2GBs to go and now its at a crawl.

I'm going back and forth. 1 hour 12 minutes at one point, then up to 16 hours 52 minutes.. now I'm down to 4 hours 47 minutes.. and I'm using my work's pipe.

I'm in Sacramento.
