Exactly the same effect I'm seeing.5 minutes in and had 2GBs to go and now its at a crawl.
Trying to get in early in hopes of someone delivering the answers...
Could anyone verify with certainty:
- Will it run Adobe CS 5.5 programs with no issues?
- Will it run Pages '09 with no issues?

Why does it not show up on the front page of the App Store yet? Does Apple want to test something on a few early adopters first before letting it out to the masses?

Like do the new Live Photos from the new iPhone play on it? Spacebar to play a video and that annoying thing where all the albums reset to collapsed view when you open the app?
