Can somebody who has installed 10.7.3 provide the version & build numbers for iCal & Mail?

On 10.7.2, I have:

iCal Version 5.0.1 (1547.4)
Mail Version 5.1 (1251/1251.1)

iCal Version 5.0.2 (1571)
Mail Version 5.2 (1257)

greets

Someone on ASC reports that the WiFi bug is still not solved.. I don't believe it... does this bug just go on forever?

10.7.3 still does not fix two bugs that annoy me the most:
  1. Launchpad not remembering the sort order.
  2. Inactive memory not garbage collected when free memory runs dry (and therefore causing unnecessary page outs to physical disk). Running purge command fixes the issue, but it must be done periodically and manually.

Infact the only thing that is noticeably different is the copyright year in About This Mac...

I just got done with the update and things are not good. Everything crashes! I can't open anything including browsers, mail, or Time Machine!!!! Any suggestions?

Dw combo at 7.2 MB/s that's my connection maxed out. Good to see that I have to reboot to snow leopard to update it:D

Edit: Snow Leopard update link is broken (regular not server).

Did they even fix the pixelated dock icon badges this go round?

Got a class at 7:30 so I'll go use my university's fat pipe to grab the update quickly.

I've never understood how some people can have so "many" issues with Lion...really.

Well, if you have hardware that came out within a year of Lion's release... you probably wouldn't understand. Even then, there are issues that some people have that others don't and vice versa.

For mostly everyone else, there are inexcusable performance issues. Lion wasn't that big of an under the hood change from SL... it's was more like putting Lip Stick on SL. There's no reason for them.

Just because you don't have them doesn't mean they don't exist. And I'm rather thinking Apple realizes they exist too after many tech support calls. They gave me 3 years of phone support not out of the goodness of their hearts. They did it with a wink, a nod, and a hint that they're working on what they deny exists.

Oh hey, why don't you guys post your download speeds.

It's not the internet speed on our ends. Their servers are over run because everyone and their mother's family tree is trying to download this at the same time. When is there ever a new update that doesn't suffer from server congestion?

Updated my MacPro 1,1 and now it won't boot past the grey Apple logo

Finally got it booted after waiting 15 minutes.

My MacPro is now 5% the speed it was. For example, 97 seconds to load safari

Wast of time

Same old crappy Lion.
After installation and restart, TimeMachine drive doesn't show up. No biggie. Had to disconnect and reconnect it.

Still 10 seconds until the Bluetooth keyboard is recognized after startup.

Launched Safari and the whole system freezes (like it usually does every week or two). Again with powering down the new iMac with the power button.
Yeah, same old Lion on my end.

Every thing seems better for me, it cut off about 2-3 seconds on boot time(macbook air 2011).
I use Chrome, can't mention Safari.

Only thing is GrowlMail doesn't work anymore! :(
Hope they update it soon...

So far so good!

Just installed the update on a 2008 macbook pro and everything went and is going as smooth as pie. :D -- Amazes me how many issues some of you are having ... BUMMER!

Reinstall GrowlMail 1.3.3. Mail disables plugins every update. Don't know why.
