ouu, even SL get's security update, how sweet from you Apple, how about move Expose to Lion? :)

Why would anyone want to downgrade to an inferior function? Lion has Mission Control which is far superior to Expose.

Great news! Reports from beta testing have indicated that this at least somewhat addresses the wake-to-sleep issues people have experienced with the 2011 MacBook Airs.

Failed again...

fine-grade volume controls (shift-option-volume up/down)?

That's totally cool. I didn't know I could do that (in Snow Leopard, that is)... I always go up to the Volume control in the menu bar to "fine tune" it. (Ok for me that means yet another reason for me to stay on SL...)

Nice.
:D

Where did I say it was dumb? I simply asked why. I can see why devs care, but not sure why non-devs do. :)

My apologies, didn't mean to offend you :) (sometimes online "banter" comes off in the wrong tone)

Hope my post did answer your question though as I modified it after you responded :)

Three updates to Lion now, I reckon it's time to jump from Snow Leopard :)

Don't if you have to manage Mac OS X Servers 10.5 or 10.6!

The Server Admin Tools were broke in the 10.7 betas, 10.7 final, 10.7.1, and 10.7.2. I don't have very high hopes for 10.7.3. :(

No.

I use print to PDF for school all the time. And with Lion, it completely broke all PDF hyperlinks from Safari which was extremely disruptive.

Funny, I have the same problem (and I thought my setup was the culprit). I have to view any PDF hyperlinks from Safari... on my trustee SL iMac!

No servers to manage here :D

Hope it gets sorted soon though :)

What the hell, download through SU and it goes to 2 hours? But if you download via Safari and Apples website it downloads quickly?

Has the 10.7.3 update restored the ability to have colored and custom icons in the Finder sidebar, like we did with all previous versions of OS X?

Monochrome Finder is one of the stupidest things Apple has ever done, IMO.

I am going to give it a bit of time before I immediately upgrade just in case there are some issues.

Hopefully 10.7.4 is the meaty update with new GPU drivers, restoration of broken features, quashing bugs and speed boosts.

Yep, I can confirm that... ;)
Mail and TM updates better be in the mix for .4...
:D

(But seriously, I had problems with Mail since 10.7.0 and TM since 10.7.2)

Yep, Mail crashes for me each and every single time I compose a new message, right after it auto-saves (I can "feel" it autosave, I'm pretty sure).

What's wrong with your Time Machine? I haven't noticed any issues with it, but then I haven't really checked either, so maybe there's something I should be aware of?

At the risk of NDA issues, as an ADC member who has been using .3 beta's (and soon .4), I can confidently state, wait for .5... or .6... or... ;)
