so, do the language add ons offer system wide spell check and dictionary for said languages or is it just a bunch of fonts?

Updated on my MacBook Pro now, no issues to speak of other than the originally slow download.

I might be clutching at straws, but my system seems snappier? Booting is taking 13 seconds (SSD) and shut down is instant again which disappeared with 10.7.2

I had quite a few Permissions that needed to be repaired after the update. Anyone else?

Not sure if it was the update, or redoing the Trim Enabler.

Not bad . . . :p

20 minutes start to finish and that was over a 20mb DSL line (I only get about 15). 10.7.2 was stable for me and I've noticed no changes yet.

A better question is: what else does this update offer apart from adding minoritary languages? Just those two other fixes?
I learned a new word today. Minoritary. Minoritary. I haven't the faintest idea of what it means, but it probably has to do with Greek, Hebrew, Romanian, Slovak, Thai, and Ukrainian languages, right?

I hate to be one of those people, but this update sure did some nice things for my boot time. Maybe I just needed to clear some caches, but my computer seems subjectively speedier. Of course for me I feel that way about almost every update.

List of changes

Can anyone with update check to see if Safari fixed the PDF URL issue please??

I just printed as PDF the Macrumors home page and the links are not kept. It is pretty silly.

Here are some changes I noticed:
- 2-finger tap on a dock icon brings app-Expose up more consistently. Before it would not always work.
- In a PDF, when holding option and dragging to select non contiguous text, the selecting box has a black border now.
- Apps minimize to dock quicker.
- You can now no longer press Command+M in Mission Control or Launchpad to enable the motion blur effect
- Mission Control animations seem smoother, even on Intel graphics
- I don't know if this was there before, but in Stacks, you can drill up to the containing folder by holding Command + Up
- Chinese trackpad input doesn't have that weird lag where the choices would take a while to appear
- Dashboard doesn't have that ripple effect when widgets are added
- There is a new hand cursor that looks more cartooney. You can check this out in Coverflow in Finder. Grab the handle that controls the Coverflow area height and the cursor changes into a grabbing hand icon.

Still not fixed:
- Weird jumpy scrolling in Launchpad.
- Icon in end of Launchpad row doesn't stay put when dragging an app from the row below into it.
- Small adjustments to volume still cannot be made

I'm going back to 10.7.2 via Time Machine.

not able to update

HI

i am unable to update this on my MBA for some reason. The progress download bar gets right to the end and then gives me some error message, which I can't remember now. As I dismissed it. Does anyone else have problems updating this, via the Apple and then Software Update option.

Also if I have to download it from Apple's website instead, which version do I pick OS X Lion Update 10.7.3 (Client) or OS X Lion Update 10.7.3 (Client Combo).

Whats the difference? apart from the name.

What is the Safari build??

It's weird because they fixed it in a recent Webkit nightly build.

Client install only the new stuff between 10.7.2 and 10.7.3 (Delta). Combo contains everything from 10.7.0 - 10.7.3.

Being constantly underwhelmed by these incremental "updates" (most of the time they're pretty useless and just break things) I tip my hat for this one.

Catalan support and Greek support.. did not see that coming, especially the Greek support - which according to the Greek Mac users I know has been a decade in the making.

Good one Apple. Now I'm willing to be pleasantly surprised with 10.7.4, hoping that it adds something worthwhile.

iCal & Mail versions?

Can somebody who has installed 10.7.3 provide the version & build numbers for iCal & Mail?

On 10.7.2, I have:

iCal Version 5.0.1 (1547.4)
Mail Version 5.1 (1251/1251.1)
