First test: Wifi issue (in my case: severely degraded speed when Bluetooth is active (rMBP 15'', late 2013, discrete graphics)) not fixed.

I have a clean install and guess what, others too. Thousands if not hundreds of thousand do. Many people don't speak english and don't report it here. Theres millions of other forums too.
Dont generalize if you can not prove what you are saying. This is my first mac, 4 replacements due to faulty hardware, loose screws, wrong repairs. and now these software issues.
Apple is not what I expected a premium product to be. and yes it is a fresh install. Seems like some Apple fan boys think just because they don't have, or don't want to see issues that there are issues.
Apple forums show more than 600k views. thats a lot, only speaking of the english user base regarding wifi issues.
Graphics Problems, a petition or more than 30k!!!
Windows seems so much snappier and smoother and has to deal with a lot more different kinds of hardware.
WHERE APPLES PROFIT GOING? Definitely not into bug fixing and development.
And the WORST part, Apple does not responde to any of these issues but tries to silently fix them.
TIME Machine did not work from the beginning of a fresh install of Yosemite!!!!! UI flaws everywhere! And I only turned on my new mac!
I don't know if anyone asked it yet (I've looked as much as I can through the whole thread) but I would like to know if it is possible yet to create a Bootable USB OS X 10.10.2.
I guess I would have to download it from the App Store and then use DiskMakerX to do it, right ?
Thanks in advance for your help !![]()
Those that had issues with WiFi since the beginning with Yosemite:
Finally fixed? Yes or no. Also, what model do you have?
Yeh... I did the same too on all my macs. You need to download the delta update instead. Checking the system requirements for the combo update stamps it stating 10.10 as the requirement, while the delta states 10.10.1 as its.
So weird. Combo has never had that req before in OS X history!![]()
2012 MacBook Air. See my profile signature. If I click on my profile name in the top right of the menu bar, click Login Window..., close the screen, reopen the screen and log back in, wifi searches for a signal but can't/won't connect to my wifi network. I have to turn off wifi and turn it back on for it to connect.
For some reason it finds it after turning wifi off and then back on again.

The other thing that I am not sure is how to include the Time Machine Recovery to the Bootable USB. I had it on 10.9 but since 10.10 and 10.10.1 it is no longer available.

After performing an SMC and PRA/NVRAM reset things might be fixed, I am still investigating.
Two questions to tywebb13:
1. Is this the combo for the final version or for the beta version?
2. On what machines should the firmware updates be run?
I'm suing Apple for making Yosemite do this!

No but seriously, does it still lag on retina Macs? 10.1 and below were a nightmare to use.
I agree. I'm still running 10.9.5 with great results, however I am tempted to make the switch. The wi-fi issues and a few others mentioned over the past couple of months have bothered me though.
Opinions?
