The update did not fix my Safari issues. It still fails to load webpages at random times.

WHEN WILL THIS BE FREAKING FIXED? zzz.

Hmm, why am I not seeing "Fixes issue that causes your £2500 computer with highest end specs to run a little bit slower than your Windows 95 PC from 1999" in the list of fixes?

:)

I feel the same way with regards to my dismissed 2010 Dell Ws running windows 8..
I expected more from the "hungry and foolish" company dealing only with proprietary hw and sw...

Strange problem

Well I have strange problem too... With WiFi off course! :)

I'm using iMac 27" (Mid.2010) and everything was just fine with wifi until last night after updating to 10.10.2

Screen_Shot_2015_01_28_at_12_01_09.png

As you see on ScreenShot earlier I got always 10+ networks on my list... Just 2 of them are from my router (2.4 and 5.0 ghz) but from last night on available network list a get only one and that is one I'm connected to. Well it's not actually a problem. Everything still works just fine but what will happen if I decide to change network? How can I do that? Simply that is stupid bug that Apple should not let it.

WiFi is still not fixed: webpages in Safari still don't load correctly or don't load at all.

****** this!

Looking forward to Windows 10 now.

Are you sure that's a wifi problem? If the wifi was spotty the webpage wouldn't load at all.

Anyone else now getting a blue tint in the display when the mac switched to Nvidia graphics (dynamic switching)?

I have a MBP Mid-2012 15". The problem did not happen in the latest beta.

Installed on the same model MBP and not seeing this. Perhaps an issue with your display colour profiles?

window resize is now more fluid in safari on forums, but it is still laggy on pages such as facebook

Running fine here after the update. I was having very bad animation lag on 10.10.1 when doing things such as swiping up to activate Mission Control and entering Launchpad. Everything certainly seems a lot more fluid on my early 2011 13" MBP and the boot up didn't take nearly as long as it used to. Solid update.

Same - Safari just hung for me as well. It was snappy, but after a few hours of use it died again.

Considering Apple just made record profits, they should really invest a good chunk into OSX. It's a dying operating system and starting to fall behind Windows. Yes, Windows 8 was a bit of a disaster, but in terms of general reliability it may actually be better than OSX these days (Windows 7 is).

OS X dying, Haha must be joke of the week.
Windows 10 will give users a starmenu, multiple desktops and metro apps that are not full screen, oh and Spartan. Cutting edge stuff from Microsoft.

I'm having this as well sometimes, it's just weird. 10.10.2 hasn't fixed it?

I experience a similar issue when I am connected to Wireless-G but not -N.

Agreed - this is only true for G (same frequency range as Bluetooth, I think)

Indeed that was the first thing I checked. (rMBP 13" late 2013). There goes my not so mighty mouse.

No way José - I am using my machine stationary with an external keyboard and a Tragic Mackpad. I am seriously considering changing the router placement to allow for a better N connection at my desk.

Feeling very, very tired with OS X at the moment. So very tired...

It runs fast most of the time, but after heavy use (I mean working on multiple 6GB Photoshop files simultaneously for 8 hours) it becomes slow and STAYS slow until I restart. I can quit Photoshop and do whatever I want, but it won't return to normal until I reboot. 16 GB RAM and Late 2013 rMBP, 15 inch with discreet graphics. It smells like a memory leak to me though those aren't very common and should have been fixed...

So you're using Adobe Photoshop and you're blaming Apple for its memory leaks? OK

Try the free "Memory Clean" app from the App Store. Works like a charm to keep ... your memory clean. :)

Share some details... which sites? Who's your ISP? What wireless router are you using? There's _so_ many factors that could be contributing to your situation outside of the OS.

does it included updated graphics drivers for Nvidia and Intel 4000 HD?

according to tonymac site, they did update the graphics drivers, but there's still no native support for chips such as geforce 750ti and 900series.

Nope...I have get this problem with this new update 10.10.2.... On old one 10.10.1 everything was OK!

Based on what?

Apple has been adding incremental features onto the system without fixing underlying bugs and issues with it. Core functionality like Finder and other tools remain primitive after all these years. Interest at Apple has seemed to shift to iOS rather than OS X.

And Microsoft is rocking a bug free OS loved by everyone? Windows 10 is having state of the art features like a starmenu or multiple desktops
When you have continuity/handoff on windows let me know. Incremental features my ass :D

Really glad the bluetooth sync issue is fixed. I use a bluetooth headset at work and that was getting so annoying.

Anyone here can they test if they can make phone calls from the contacts app by pressing the phone button. When I press the phone button next to a number nothings happens. I can only dial the number if I actually highlight the number and right click it to make the call. Anyone experiencing this as well?

Which model of Mac. Just saying "WiFi isn't fixed" doesn't help a bloody thing if it is working fine for others, especially those who didn't have a problem with it to begin.

BL.

What's your point? Those who didn't have a problem to begin with don't need bother with this at all.

Why would it not be it a WiFi problem?

It's not just Safari actually. Sometimes I can't connect to the App-Store or the iTunes Store or it just loads those pages not correctly (like in Safari).

If I open uTorrent but don't start loading anything, the Mac's internet connection just drops or it doesn't load the webpages correctly.

On my iPhone or on Windows machines everything works fine.
