Good news, FCPX 10.1.1 works without needing to launch the executable, nothing broken aside from Motion 5.1 not launching at all.
Also noticed Safari and iTunes aren't forgetting my login's; no longer have to constantly enter my information. Alas, no dark theme.
I see no differences in the system preferences icons. I feel like I'm being trolled.
Do we get dark mode and updated iTunes?
Screenshots, as requested...
- Thinner font on Calendar
- Bolder font systemwide
- Grey Apple logo
Also...
- TimeMachine and AirPorts working normal again
- Mail is pushing again, but not near quite as fast as on the iPhone as promised by Craig F.
Are you sure fcpx10.1.1 works now? Is the icon showing now?
Thank you!
DP2 is worse than DP1 for me, it's not even showing the time for me :/
- The Notification Center has a "Today" tab, and strangely enough, you can't add in previously-available widgets like the calculator, etc.
address bar in safari is shifted to the left now
not sure if the black arrows when opening apps, docs, or downloads is new but I don't remember seeing it.
not sure if this is a bug or not but when switching between desktop and safari the background is blue
Does anybody know how to disable the icon chat on the menu bar? Maybe with a command line on Terminal?
It showed up there by itself and the option is gone from the Messages app preferences
Hold down the Command key and drag it off.
Yeah, what if we need to refer to something already on screen right there where it pops up? Can we move it? Is it modal? Does it obscure the rest of the screen contents with any fancy effects we don't need?
I agree. I told Apple that Cyan reminded me of Microsoft and it shouldn't be used for OS X. They said they are aware of the issue so I'm guessing the color will change before release. I don't know why they don't let the user colorize the folders in the first place.
It's not just you. DP2 is no better than DP1. Just awful.I don't know if it is just me, but after the update my Macbook seems slower...?
I think Apple generally avoids encouraging the sort of UI customization that often leads to stuff like this:
Can anyone confirm if dark mode is in this build?
sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences AppleInterfaceTheme Dark
