safari still jumps on the top, by copying a text on youtube, I hate that ! The issue is still not corrected.

Safari uses wayyyyy too much RAM, just me? God, its like it uses more than Chrome sometimes.

This looks nice too:

At the Login Window, notice the Apple logo top-left

I can't get AirDrop to work between iOS and OS X. I'm not sure if this is expected behavior from previous DP's though.

I think that was always there... I did notice on the rMBP, all the elements on the login screen is bigger than before. Like the non-retina version?

I see a lot of visual elements have been fixed while others are now botched.

For example fonts seem clearer now and sometimes things like the airport icon is clearer now. Before I couldn't tell if I had WiFi connected or not, but now I can see it clearly.

Botched things are weird shadows and some backgrounds are opaque when they should be transparent.

Also there still doesn't seem to be an option to restore the non-translucent menu bar.

sweet, i was getting bored. need something to toy around with

(only 557 mb)

Interestingly my update was closer to 1.3 GB on my Mac Pro.

They definitely need to check their math on the System Info page.

It looks like they fixed the white "Trash" text in the Trash Folder that happened in DP 6. The text is now gray like the rest of them were in DP 6. It was a pretty annoying visual glitch. However I do get this visual glitch under help menus with the search bar.

EDIT: They added a Force Quit App option to the Apple menu as well. If in Safari, it becomes Force Quit Safari. In Finder, Force Quit Finder.

Force Quit Finder is showing because you're holding down option to take the screen shot. It's been that way since the initial version. Holding down option modifies certain menu items. Quit > Force Quit is one of them.

Same here, but I never click there

Storage not displaying correct info...

Not sure if the pic will show in-line, but it shows that I have 370GB of audio files and 271GB of Photos, which are way off. I have maybe 500MB of audio files, and no photos on this partition. In fact, it shows my entire partition used when it is not.

I'm having the same problem...

SOLVED:

1. Open terminal and paste:

mdutil -s /

2. than paste:

sudo mdutil -E /

3. Give some time for spotlight to index your files...

people make their own snippets that i'm sure they wouldn't want taken from them.

True, I forget about that feature since I haven't used it in a while. Personally, I'm just glad that Apple gives you the option to turn it off. Works for everybody.

That's always been there, I believe, since the first DP. I have it on DP 6.

Check.
Didn't notice it before.
