This is why you never updated to brand new OS. That's why I'm waiting for 10.7.1 or .2 to updated. As far as the 10.6.8 updated, why didn't they just upgrade to 10.6.9 so that they stop confusing everybody?
Anybody else starting to feel sorry for the Internet?Apple really throwing those updates about just lately
Does anyone know what version of Safari is in the new combo update? 5.0.5 or 5.1?
Anybody else starting to feel sorry for the Internet?
I'm not sure I'd call this a bug but it sure is a big disappointment.
It isn't perfect that is for sure/
I think this is Apple begin fancy. That is the blurred text is done on purpose along with the extra fraction of a second it doesn't need to take.
Well if you see them as problem you are right. I think the refocus thing was done on purpose though.
I wouldn't call any of your listed items bugs. However bugs are there too. On the other hand the bugs are few considering just how much has been refactored.
Oh yeah! Thank God! Apple is so great.

Its so great to see apple takes care of this things![]()
I also want to know. When combo updating the original 10.6.8 to a fresh install of snow leopard, Safari 5.1 is an optional install. I prefer 5.0.5.

Well each individual has his own standards and issues, but I find Lion to be one of the best updates to come from Apple in some time. Given that there is no resin to hold off that I can see. The OS will never be complete and bug free, so waiting for that to happen is silly.
Don't believe me on the OS never begin bug free, just look at what is happening with the 10.6.8 update. Waiting for a special X.X.y revision to come is a loosing game. Dot "y" versions can screw things up just as well as a major revision.
The standard support for TRIM that isnt working in third party SSDs.
Is that really a bug or Apple's 'feature'
I want to encourage you all to use http://bugreporter.apple.com/.
If Apple doesn't know about it, they can't fix it! I have two bugs listed so far!Just try to follow the reporting rules or risk giving Apple devs headaches instead of helping them fix problems. That could suck.
BTW, combo updates are not just for people who have yet to update to the version. They'll install just fine on the version they're updating to as well. I've done that in the past to fix corruption issues.
If you have a revision nomenclature, stick to it.
This is going to be very confusing. Imagine the support call "What OS? " 10.6.8. "Which One? " Huh?
You have to be a reigstered Apple developer to use that site. Not for everyone.
baloney! For example?
