Bit of a stretch there, isn't it? It's been five years now with Siri and they have just now gotten around to adding it on the Mac. The rest of the couple of features are nice and convenient, but far from extensive or that puts taking on day-to-day tasks to a new level. Reminds me of iOS 6

I am looking forward to the new optimized Apple file system.

Are you sure its not Build 16A322 ? Because thats what my RMBP is showing and i just installed it today
Newest GM is 16A323 (see screenshot)
There have already been a couple of GM's after the initial GM which was 16A319

IMHO, Apple should call these GM's, RC's (Release Candidates)

If your code has already been redeemed (most should have), just re-download from the Mac App Store. It doesn't show the correct build, but once downloaded you will find out it is the newest.

If people can claim that iOS "bricked" their phones then we can be flexible on the definition of a GM. After all, it's not like these are still being sent to a factory for CDs to get pressed.

I had a feeling there would be a GM2, given how soon GM1 was released versus its public release date. I've only noticed a few minor issues that I can't even remember right now.

They must have found a major issue that needed to be addressed sooner then later.

Yep they accidentally released a debug build as the GM, it was highly unusual but the Xcode GM had the same problem so something really weird is going on within Apple's release team.

Anyone with Sierra can check if they have a debug build by running Console, the GM outputs about 10k lines of debug output in 2 minutes.

i guess you have to wait for an email from apple or something because it says my code was already redeemed, thanks by the way!

On the updates page of the MAS, click the purchased section and re-download the installer.

I just re-downloaded it from the Mac Store and the info.plist shows as A322. Hmmm. I'll check tomorrow and see what it shows.

I clearly can't choose the golden master in front of you.
They fell victim to one of the classic blunders, the most famous is "never get involved in a fandroid war on MacRumors", but only slight less well known is this: "don't release your GM before fully testing."

Yep good catch. Cleared my console and got another 10k messages in about 1 minute!

Mine shows 10.12 the same as before I downloaded it from the app store purchases. I must be doing something wrong, any help would be appreciated?
Thanks, Jerry

Actually, the GM is the version that gets preinstalled in the iPhone 7 units being manufactured.
Anything after that, will be an OTA for iPhone 7 users.

Can anyone say if this adds full screen and bubble effects to iMessage? If so, can you also send them now? No idea why Apple have skipped over this in Sierra.
