This is warning to anyone with an IPad pro 12.9. Do not fully discharged your battery because it will be stuck at 1%.

PB2 seems a lot more slow and unresponsive than PB1. Can't back out of apps, access home screen nor lock my phone. Have to force restart to get it back working again.

Same. PB2 is awful compared to PB1 on my 7+. Locks up in apps and requires force restart. Terrible.

I keep reading about how this PB isn't ready to be a daily driver yet.

Ive used it as a daily driver since PB 1. Sure it's buggy, but getting better, but it is VERY usable as a daily driver. This i my iPhione 6+.

This is what we signed up for. If you are too stressed to use it the way they want to test it, go back to 10.3.2 and quit yer belly aching. :)

Does anyone else find it a little annoying that the symbol/number key serves no purpose other than to educate about swiping down for symbols and numbers? While I don’t have a problem with the alternate character approach, sometimes it’s nice to be able to straight-type numbers without the swipe. Not all forms that take numbers are coded/recognized as number fields to default.

App Store ‘Today’ tab is still stuck on June 26th for me, I thought it was stuck on beta release day but still on June 26 with Beta 2.
The info on the first card says they’re only going to be updating the today page at each beta - it isn’t a truly live look.

Any way to turn that tip/announcement off ? I know that after the tip you can press the symbol key again and get the number keyboard but it’s just annoying

iOS 11 PB2 is just garbage on 6S+. PB1 was very laggy, but usable. This PB2, I think I’ve force restarted my phone 10 times tonight. Locks up like I’ve never seen before. Come on PB3, this is garbage.

Sadly, nothing I’ve found. But thanks for the tip on tapping it again. As long as you don’t kill the app in the App Switcher, it might stay sticky, but if you kill the app completely it resets.

This release seems to be tolerable on my 10.5" iPad Pro. I still have rotation and folders not opening bugs; however, usually pressing home button 2-3 times solves the problem. Performance wise, it is surprisingly good. The animations are fast and the battery life along with thermals are back to normal.

I recommend anyone who are using their iPad as a secondary device if they are eager to experience the new features. It is for the best not to install on iPhones though.

My messages app was ridiculously slow and soggy. I turned off iMessages on iCloud and it is back to normal. I'll turn it back on the next beta release and see if it is fixed. just wanted to pass that on.

as an update - everything runs perfectly fast on my 7S now that I turned off icloud sync in messages.

turning off iCloud sync in messages also fixed some other apps from crashing

iOS 11 bricked my phone! Beware, folks! I decided to downgrade back to iOS 10 because my phone was slow, battery life very, very, short and iPhone was very hot to touch after charging. I got stuck in recovery mode and Apple could not fix it so they gave me a new phone. That's how bad it was. Took me a whole day to get my new phone up and running with all my old apps, passwords, format, etc. So, BEWARE! I know it's fun, but there is a price to pay if you are not careful.

I've been using build 15A5318g since it came out, and it's waaay much better than the previous beta build. Apps do close!

Can you provide a bit more detail about what was happening when it bricked it? Obviously many of us have been using it without issue, even as a daily driver. So a few more helpful bits of information (what were you doing, what did it do before, etc.) would be much more productive than spreading sheer panic. The problems you say you were having that caused you to downgrade to iOS 10 don't indicate a bricking, and it seems the downgrade itself is when the bricking happened.

I’ve found something interesting with this latest beta...
My battery was draining faster than it should even for a beta version... App Store was a the top in the battery usage with like 53%.
I’ve disable the music syncing with the watch within the watch app ... and it went all back to normal... App Store is not even in the top 10 after half a day.

nope you need a computer... and you also need to download the latest iOS 10.3.3 beta to downgrade.

thanks Zadigre

with some bricking posts think I might wait for pb3 or later versions.

I do have an entry level win10 laptop though iphone 6 calls can suffice for the time being.

removing the music sync in the watch app definitively helps the battery with my iPhone but also the watch!
my iPhone has been off the charger since 8:30am... one and a half hour later, still at 100%. Before disabling this feature, I was down by at least 5%. On my watch, it's also a lot better... off the charger since 7am... 3 hours later, I've only lost 3%. which is excellent since it was down at least 10-20% before.

Control Center is still buggy for me.

Toggling Bluetooth, Wi-fi etc doesn't seem to work sometimes.

The icon will turn/off on but the wifi/bt will not turn off/on.

I have 10.3.3 downloaded to win10 28gig laptop

I cant work out how to update this to iphone6

when i try restore from itunes it attempts to download 10.3.2 again to my laptop where storage limit is exceeded 1gig into a 2.45 g file

Can I make use of the 10.3.3 file direct from my win10 desktop?

Instructions please Ive tried holding either alt or left shift key which isn’t making use of desktop ios file

Alternative is waiting on next ios11 beta or full version- missing my clio medianav tech bluetooth calls already since pb2

There must be a solution of downgrade whilst making use of 10.3.3 file direct from win10 desktop
