When in the "old" widget section it will display a larger widget (4 headlines) version of the Today widget. if you are adding to Home Screen, it only shows the 3 headline version

Yeah, I do have a Max. And yeah, the largest widget for news only works in the widget area, it can't be put on the Home Screen.
Thank god we’re down to weekly updates, Beta 5 made my iPhone unusable. 30+ reboots per day, no wireless carplay, and constant app crashes. Hopefully 6 solves whatever was causing this.
Weekly updates doesn't mean they're rushing, it just means they've limited their scopes and now only focusing on refining, optimizing and getting GM out within the next month (no new features or big merges that sometime can destabilize the OS like in b4 for you). Then they'll go back to fixing bigger bugs for 14.x.x/14.x releases.
As for translations, that's expected to be evolving over time, not something they'll have perfected in the first iteration. People will have to report issues and they'll train/update models to push to devices.
Think Maps, it'll be a few years before it'll be usable for sure.
Yes, but before it showed it to you when editing the home screen. Now, it only shows when you are editing the widget area.

It’s funny, I just checked software update to see if a new beta was out (public) as I’ve been having FaceID unlock issues for the past few days. Glad to see the update athough I’ll have to wait to update until Thursday, assuming it will hit tomorrow, as I’m traveling for work.
Me too! I thought there was something wrong with my phone because I deadass forgot that I was on beta software 😂 I’ve turned my phone off and on and everything went back to normal though.
Has anyone had issues with Apple Watch since beta 4 was released and not fixed with beta 5. I have had a issue and trying to find out if it’s the beta or a failure

Not everybody having an iPhone with iOS 13 will upgrade to an iPhone 12
But everybody having an iPhone with iOS 13 will update to iOS 14!
So i'm definitely excited for Big Sur and iOS 14! To be honest, for the first time ever i'm more excited about a MacOS release than an iOS release!

Crazy that some X.0 releases took 12 betas where as some of the most recent only needed 8. We're either close to the end or we're not even half way there.

It could happen in late September. It all depends on how fast they can get the bugs fixed. The more bug reports that are filed the better.
I hope. Hasn't happened to me too much. I mostly get the messaging badge with nothing new in the app until I kill it and restart. What I think would be cool as a Messaging Feature would be that the pinned with no new would be smaller and become larger and bolded when there are new messages.
