But stil, I have it right in front of me saying "iOS 14.3, Your software is up to date". I definitely didn't run any updates today, besides I'm not in the beta-program.
Do you have any profiles installed?

Sounds like you have an earlier iOS 14.3 beta on the phone.

Did you transfer the data from an old iPhone that was on the 14.3 Beta? I wanted to update my iPhone 12 Pro and it did not find the beta update and when I checked I did not have the profile installed. Reinstalled the Beta profile and it updated. I had updated the new iPhone 12 Pro when I got it to the Beta and then did a transfer from my old iPhone X and it seems it did everything but is not transferring the profiles.

So the iPhone 12 Pro was running the Beta but during the transfer had removed any profiles and did not bring the profiles from the old iPhone. Which makes sense.

Someone updated somehow. It did not come from the factory that way. This also assumes you got it brand new from a store and not new from a private reseller.

I don't see any profiles, I had the beta profile on my iPhone 8, but uninstalled it a few weeks ago. I just booted my 8 to find the profile settings. (General, below VPN) But there is nothing there on my 12.

Well, my 8 has been in the beta program but I uninstalled the beta profile a few weeks ago. I did transfer data from the 8 to the 12 via an iCloud backup. (Recent after withdrawal from the beta program). I think this may be an explanation, albeit a weird one.

If you look at the software version, does it say iOS 14.3 of iOS 14.3 beta 2/3/Whatever?

It was new from a store (not apple store). The update will have been run by me, but without realising I somehow got into the beta program again.

Please fix the iMessage lag. When I click into an existing message text box it takes a few seconds for anything to happen. Happening to at least 5 other people I know. So I know it isn't just me :)
I noticed this as well! Hope it gets addressed...

Airpods not syncing properly (takes a long time) is still present

the lag (most noticeable for videos, music) is still there (on iPad at least)
Boo! Thanks for checking @GregJohn ! Is there a trick for sync'ing Airpods now then? I almost want to downgrade to 14.2, I haven't been able to use my AirPods with my iPhone for weeks!

I think something is wrong with me....
I've never owned a tile tracker or any tracker, and yet I want to add an air tag to everything I own

Woo! Customizing your home screen.

How about letting us manually change the color of the clock, ect on the lock screen? The auto switch is dumb AF and limits wallpapers that can be used.

Verizon needs to get their act together. Slow network speeds with 12 Pro. Maybe the carrier profile and modem need to be updated and this version will bring it.
I agree! I had the note 20 ultra 5G and had no issues. I switched to the iPhone 12, and I get 2.3mb/s on full bars of 5G... and 0.46mb/s on LTE... Verizon says it’s a network outage, but I have full signal and it’s the same type of speeds everywhere I go.

What are your speeds? Ive gotten like 150mb down on the 5G standard network. Thats wayyyyyy faster than LTE for me in my area for sure.

I signed up for the public beta but keep hearing NOT to install it on your daily driver device. Any truth to that with the public betas? I really want ProRAW and Im tired of waiting. Can I go back to 14.2.1 official release if something is wrong with public beta 3? Or is this like the old Android days where you can brick your phone?

Anyone who's been having the notifications issues with 14.2 have any improvements here?

I’ve been hoping, ever since getting an iPhone 12 Pro Max that an upcoming point update makes better use of the space. The giant icons don’t exactly make a bigger screen worth it and frankly, the large character sizes in the clock bar, doesn’t look right. An extra row of icons and/or more room for widgets would be welcome. A more in-depth update to better use the larger screen for iPadOS-like multi tasking will perhaps have to wait until iOS 15.

Will this be the update to finally include a native iTunes-like crossfade option within Apple Music for iOS? (You know, kind of what Apple Music for Android recently got?) 😕
