Boo! Thanks for checking @GregJohn ! Is there a trick for sync'ing Airpods now then? I almost want to downgrade to 14.2, I haven't been able to use my AirPods with my iPhone for weeks!
I am on 14.2 and i really hoped this was fixed in 14.3. I am experiencing same issues as above. I dont have problem connecting but videos or music app sorta hangs up until the airpod pro is disconnected from bluetooth menu. Its really unusable for now.

Airpods not syncing properly (takes a long time) is still present

the lag (most noticeable for videos, music) is still there (on iPad at least)
Hasn't fixed the issue with hearing aids either - interference / cutting out on one channel (left hand side) on Oticon hearing aids.

Given that the processor on the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini is exactly the same as what is on the Pro, is there any particular reason that this is being limited to the Pro models? I do not get the impression that there is any technological limitation preventing the regular iPhone 12 models from using this feature, in which case it seems to be just a means of creating product differentiation.

If that’s the case, using software as a means of product differentiation, especially because the hardware is capable of the task in both series, seems pretty shi-tay-tay…
ProRaw is limited to the iPhone Pro models. The chip is not exactly the same. 12 and 12 mini processor only has 4GB RAM built on, 12 Pro has 6GB.
Also, just because RAW format is generally considered more professional it will probably stay an iPhone Pro model feature, even if/when base/mini models get a RAM upgrade. Otherwise, why bother with the “Pro” naming?

Yeah been happening to me on iPhone 11 Pro 256GB. This thing previously didn't have any lag, nor should it.
It’s really annoying. I’m using a 12 PM and the texting lag is awful. My phone acts like it only has 1 gb of ram. I thought there was a story last year where they were changing the way they handled software releases to handle bugs differently. I see no difference.

I hope the mic is now going to be fixed in this iOS 14.3 ...I’ve had no mic on ipad since the last update and not impressed ..others are asking the same ...Apple fix this bug

Hope the update fixes my issue with the spinning wheel on the upper left constantly showing up (since installing iOS 14 in my iPhone SE 2nd Gen.). Reboot etc. just helps temporarily, after some time the wheel starts again to spin and spin and spin...

I'm guessing its a limitation caused by the amount of RAM. The Pro series has 2GB more RAM, which if your doing computational stuff is important.
An extra 2 GB of RAM required to manipulate a 25 MB file? Nope. I don’t buy it. I cannot imagine that is necessary; I’ve edited files much larger than that on an iPhone 6s.

File a bug but mark it as an Accessibility issue. I started doing that for Bluetooth bugs (which, of course, present mostly for NOT hearing impaired folks, AirPods, headsets, headphones, cars, etc)… but I figure if it impacts ALL those folks AND hearing-impaired, well, then, given Apple's PR about Accessibility, they should be SUPER on top of fixing it for us!

(Of course, it doesn't actually seem to work… given your current experience. But… always nice to try. 🤣)

Resetting your network settings should eliminate that.

They just decided it's a Pro feature for the Pro device. It's as simple as that

Right. That was the source of my criticism:

...in which case it seems to be just a means of creating product differentiation.

Apple has limited access to software features in the past because the hardware simply isn’t capable. I get that. If the machine can’t do it, then fine.

Here, they chose to make the hardware capable but then artificially limited the abilities of the software, not because of a physical limitation in the device, but just to create a “premium” feel. Doesn’t feel like an Apple move to me. Seems out of character. Seems pretty crappy.

Apple today seeded the third betas of upcoming iOS 14.3 and iPadOS 14.3 updates to developers for testing purposes, two weeks after releasing the second betas and a month after the launch of iOS and iPadOS 14.2.

iOS and iPadOS 14.3 can be downloaded through the Apple Developer Center or over the air after the proper developer profile has been installed.

The iOS 14.3 update brings the ProRAW format to the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. ProRAW is designed for those who prefer to shoot in RAW but also want to take advantage of the Apple image pipeline data like noise reduction and multi-frame exposure adjustments.

The ProRAW feature can be enabled in the Camera section of the Settings app for those who have installed the iOS 14.3 beta on a new ‌iPhone 12 Pro‌ or Pro Max. When enabled, there's a RAW toggle in the upper right side of the camera app that can be tapped to turn it off or on. Photos taken with ProRAW are 25MB in size.

Ecosia, a search engine that plants trees when people conduct searches, can now be set as the default search engine on iPhone and iPad.

Though not a feature, the iOS 14.3 update hints at some future product releases. There's an icon that may reveal the design of the AirPods Studio, along with details on AirTags and the Find My feature that's meant to let third-party devices integrate with the Find My app.

Code in iOS 14.3 suggests Apple is laying the groundwork to add support for third-party item trackers and Bluetooth devices in the Find My app, allowing these devices to be tracked right alongside iPhones and iPads. It's not yet clear which items will support the feature or when support will roll out, but we could be hearing additional information soon.

In iOS 14.3, it's easier than ever to launch apps with custom icons right from the Home Screen, which is great for those who prefer to customize their Home Screens.

When opening an app that has a custom icon created using Shortcuts, it is no longer routed through the Shortcuts app and is instead able to open much more quickly. There's still a banner that pops up, but it's a more streamlined experience than before.

Other new features include pregnancy data in the Health app, third-party app suggestions at setup in certain countries, support for scanning App Clips QR codes with the camera app, an option to update HomeKit products with the Home app, and more, with a full list available in our iOS 14.3 features guide.

any news abput the dualse ps5 controller?

When will they fix HEALTH App so it's not necessary to 'restore all settings' and re-pair to the Apple Watch 6, to get it to work... This is ridiculous and I'm on my 2nd Watch 6 because nobody in the store new about this quirk given that you can't use the ECG App and the included ECG won't activate from health.... is this being addressed yet?

It's a pain to do multiple re-installs of 'everything' when Apple should have a fix for a well known issue for anyone trying to use the new ECG feature on Apple Watch 6. (And yes I'm running 14.2 and Watch 7.1) .. latest.. so I hope the Beta crowd knows this needs to be corrected by 'bug' update fix.

Resetting your network settings should eliminate that.
Tried it, unfortunately it helps only temporarily. After a couple of hours the spinning wheel appears again without ever stopping (never had the problem before iOS 14 with any iPhone)

Well hours of effort; but I 'first' unpaired the Watch; then restored all settings on the iphone; then repaired the watch and now it works. In the process a number of graphics changed and passwords had to be put in; which I don't understand but have done it. I'd remind Apple of their original motto ... 'it just works'. They do; but getting complex. And in this case no instruction to warn customers to unpair watch before updating or getting a new iPhone 12, to avoid double the configuration work essentially.. once they figure out the workaround.
