can you please tell me how you updated? I'm having the same issue you're describing and the beta profile is still installed on my macbook
Just pushed the update all button in the App Store Updates section. The same way I always do my updates. And the beta is indeed installed successfully and the profile for beta SW is still there.

It seems apple changed agian something in the USB stack in the latest beta 10.11.4 beta 3.On 10.11.3 eyetv 3.6.9b3 (7411) was working pretty ok stopped every now and then displaying "This channel is currently not available", now with 10.11.4 b3 it just say no signal, going back to 10.11.3 solves the problem

If the mouse has one button that can function as two buttons, does it then have two buttons?
Not exactly, but it's close enough for most stuff. The only time I like to have two physical buttons is when I play StarCraft.

There was a problem with the 15E39c build. For that build the seed note said

"Known issue with this build:
Applications that dynamically update their executable after installation may encounter an invalid code signature resulting a crash on launch"

This has been removed for the seed note for 15E39d.

Sounds like what has been hitting me for the 3rd beta

As usual, Apple needs to do the following:
  • Get rid of root as Apple's effectively given 3rd party developers the finger
  • Put in the option to change the green button's behaviour (full screen on a large desktop screen is completely redundant)
  • Add option in keyboard commands to have cmd+x and cmd+v act as cut/paste for MOVING files in the Finder
  • Fix the way attachments are handled in Mail (christ, a 600 billion dollar company should get this right the first time)
  • Add option of folders on top in the Finder

Absolutely!! My wish too especially the cut/pasting of files and folders in the finder with out having to get third party apps which do not work on El Capitan

I thought we are talking about NAS'es.

As much as I want to take you seriously, I can't. When I was shopping around for a NAS, I was strongly debating between buying Synology, QNAP or build my own with Freenas with Xeon/Avoton based hardware. WD hasn't even been on a remote thought or map, let alone being considered.

I went with an Intel Atom based Synology, DS713+, and by golly it has been a good solid choice, both performance and stability wise. I would still build my own now though, because manufacturers have a nasty habit of locking you in with their products. Apple doesn't do this.... /s.

If you want/need a proper NAS, you can start counting the minimum number of disks from two (RAID 1, you know), otherwise you're wasting money.

And going back to your post, I don't think your mac has anything to do with the performance and stability of your ARM based NAS. Admittedly, Finder is a steaming pile of crap for mounting and navigating mounted filesystems, but it can be avoided by using Pathfinder.

Then how do you account for them working flawlessly pre-El Cap?

Asking these kinds of questions can get you in trouble in Wayward Pines.
Seriously though, it's kind of an integrated "one as two" kind of function for the new snappier touch-mouse.
