Yay it's showing! But it's DP7, safe to update? (On PB2 currently)
Nu hurries, I'll do it tomorrow, almost time to sleep and I want to do it clear-headed :)

Does it look different if the battery is charging (I can't check right now)? If so, Apple addressed my complaint that the icon did not indicate whether the battery was actually charging or not.

That screenshot was with the battery at 100% and plugged in. I unplugged it then let it drain a bit, plugged it back in and now that it is charging, the icon is different now... so charging it is black body with white bolt, and full is white body with white bolt.... in dark mode.

DP7 showed up for me now. I’m not a developer. Won’t download it. Running public preview 2

Thanks for checking that for me, I appreciate it :)

laughing hard right now. people whining about 3d dock? wow, talk about first world problems. i love the 2d dock comeback. fan since day 1 on tiger. always loved it. but the 3d was alright too. i mean, who cares about a damn DOCK.

… downloading … the update has disappeared …

If anything like that recurs with App Store, you can run the following command in Terminal to tell whether the expected software is both (a) still in Apple's catalogue and (b) not yet installed on your Mac:

Code:
sudo softwareupdate -l

Hint: if any update is applicable, it will be simply listed.

In this situation, don't rush to use the softwareupdate command to install. If – say – an App Store-related process is invisibly continuing to download the software, then beginning an update from the command line may cause (concurrent) downloads of identical items to take much longer than is necessary.

I can't create new tabs in Safari for some reason. Never been able to, and it just crashes every time I try. Anyone else experiencing this?

DP7 here

lol, shows up as DP7 now for Beta 2 tester…
Maybe they want to get us to the Developer-Channel now to release the final betas on the same Software Update channel…
