Did anyone else experience extremely long wait times when replying to texts from the lock screen? This didn't happen in PB1 but when I got PB2 I would sometimes have to wait 3-5 seconds just to be able to read/reply.

You are correct. The macOS b4 notes refer to "prior seeds", rather than "betas". I think that's what I was thinking of as being slightly confusing.
Is anyone else seeing issues with alarm volume, it is much louder for me on all seeds of 10 beta. Adjusting the ringer volume does not change it. If you preview the sound within the alarm settings it sounds at the expected volume. I also reported to Apple after first seed, no fix as of yet.
Not really, they usually come out the day after the developer build. The true sign of approaching first GM is when they release both Developer and Public at the same time or on the same day.
how's 'real world' performance on iPhone 6 on iOS 10 so far?

Its normally 48 hours, not 24 hours. If we get a build next week, they are definitely finalizing the GM.
The update isn't showing up on my phone yet. Any tips on how long it usually takes? I'm currently on iOS 10 Public Beta 2. Looking forward to the update as PB 2 is pretty laggy on my poor iPhone 6!

The first Public iOS 10 beta was. But my experience with even the minor beta releases in the past has been the public comes out the day after developer most of the time. There are obvious exceptions to this.
Anyone else noticing just ***** battery life? I thought they fixed that with the previous beta. I was expecting it to be drained by the photo indexing process, but that completed yesterday and my battery life is still draining fast enough to watch the meter run down just by leaving the screen turned on. Going to try to reset network settings and do a hard reboot, see if that fixes things. Baring that, a clean install instead of OTA update. Gotta do something though, because 18% decrease in less than an hour just isn't going to cut it.

Easiest and probably most secure way would be to do a clean restore to 9.3.3 and then redownload the PB profile. Unless you are a developer or know a developer who can get you the IPSW of the current beta. I wouldn't necessarily trust third party sites / torrents.
Please go back and look at all iOS 9.0 DP vs. PB, additionally, go back and look at 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 10B2, 10B3. It is always 2 days after the DP is released. It has never been one day. The only time it is less than 2 days is when DP and PB are released at the same time when approaching final release.
