Unless it's two days, like last time.

Which has been outside the norm for Public beta releases. History shows that it usually is 24 hours or less from developer release to public beta release. For whatever reason the first two iOS 10 public betas didn't follow this.

You need to lookup your 'history'. It is has always been 48 hours.

Did anyone else experience extremely long wait times when replying to texts from the lock screen? This didn't happen in PB1 but when I got PB2 I would sometimes have to wait 3-5 seconds just to be able to read/reply.

Most of the time when I tried replying to a message from the lock screen the keyboard would disappear and leave me dead in the water. Hope this is addressed.

So who can tell me what's happened to the Reduce White Point option in accessibility? It's disappeared and I'm so sick of 50% brightness

Not really, they usually come out the day after the developer build. The true sign of approaching first GM is when they release both Developer and Public at the same time or on the same day.

Its normally 48 hours, not 24 hours. If we get a build next week, they are definitely finalizing the GM.
Seems like history is history and patterns are patterns, and none of that necessarily has any impact on anything in the future. Apple seems to be releasing it all when they feel it's ready to go or they wish to release it (for whatever reason), without any particular implication of anything in particular.

Anyone having any issue with iMessages? I don't seem to have all the effects I used to have in the previous beta.

You realise that posting links to developer beta IPSW's are against the forum rules?

Is there a rule about quoting the post with the link in it? Because if the mods edit the original post the link would still be present in the quoted post. Just curious. :p

People photo album has been reset for me in both my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6S. It started analysing from zero all photos for faces/people!! I spent a lot of time organising people, merging and confirming additional photos and now its all lost T_T

Weird. Anyone experienced this issue before? I am on iOS 10 Public Beta 2 on my iPhone 6 and I want to upgrade to PB 3 so I went to Settings > General > Software Update but it said no update was available. I went to Settings > General to see what my current software profile is and there was no Profile section at all! Looks like I'll have to re-download the iOS 10 Public Beta profile. Weird!

I could be wrong, but I think I saw they removed some of these features from certain phones (5s and before if I remember correctly). I did a quick search and couldn't find a link, sorry.

And now go look at iOS 9.2, iOS9.3, OS X 10.11.1->10.11.4. Out all off the most recent iOS betas, its been 48 hours more than 24 hours.

I am big enough to admit when I'm wrong, its not always 48 hours, but at least 50% of the time it is.

I ordered an iPod Touch 6th Gen yesterday for work and received it today.

Downloaded iOS 10 and PB 3 compared to PB 1 (which I tried on my iPhone 6s Plus) is much more improved.

Just because the did it one way historically doesn't mean it's going to happen that way this time. It's out when Apple decides and it's ridiculous to argue over the release.

I have seldom seen a manhood swinging contest that was more hilarious than this exchange. Large hands abound.

Starting with 9.3 it seems the first couple releases are now 2 days but that is a new pattern that started this year for the first 2-3 beta releases.

I haven't looked at the OS X / macOS history because I never do those.

The status bar issue is still there

I hope it's a bit more stable then the second one cause I've been having headaches with pb 2

You will have headaches until GM is released and probably still then.. if you don't want headaches then stick to stable releases. If you want to put up with these headaches and help apple squash bugs then keep downloading betas

Yes this was happening to me too..and also if it was a long message it wouldn't scroll up or down through the whole message if I was trying to respond to a message via status bar

10 PB2 was mostly stable for me, I have reported a couple of bugs .. one yesterday with bluetooth. Interested to see what is in this one.

Running it on my iPhone SE and iPad Air 2. I have not noticed any problems or bugs.
