I'm hoping plenty more apps are released overnight - waiting for drafts to show back up. Dark sky feels a bit quicker but time will tell...

some of those watch faces look pretty compelling..... ready for buy maybe... Its probably matured enough.

The idea of naive watch apps, that the only connection is through the phone so even though they are native u must still download them on the phone, still doesn't sit well with me.... but ok...

I'd rather have a a mac not connected to the inernet..

Yep. I've restarted both devices and it's still saying 1.0.1 is up to date.
If you have any Beta profiles, you have to delete just the profiles, on your Apple Watch. Once I did that, I was able to download OS2 for the watch. Then restart both, after deleting Profile(s), and it should work. Even if you erase a profile, the BETA,will still stay on your device(s)

im curious how much battery improvement there will be over watchOS 1.0.1?

i have the 38 MM sport green watch band.
Can imagine it could be a little better. My 42mm Black Sport gets 2 days of life on a single charge (if I turn it off overnight in between).

As long as it stays close to that I'm happy. Battery is excellent I think.

I've updated, yet - after multiple reboots of both Watch and iPhone - the Watch app on the iPhone still claims I'm running 1.0.1. I can confirm, however, that OS2 is installed (Nightstand mode is working, new watch faces, etc.). So...is WatchOS2 actually 1.0.1? Or does Apple continue to struggle with software (iOS 9 is a pile of crap on my iPhone 6).

Same here, installed and have the new features but iPhone says 1.01 installed. Woke up and saw that the update was available started downloading and installing and then realised I'd be late for work. Glad it was just in the download progress otherwise I'd have to leave my phone and watch at home in fear of bricking through half an install :)

Actually scratch what I just said, went back on the watch app on my iPhone and it correctly says it has 2.0 installed, must be a minor bug straight after install

This is terrible. Still can't download. You would think they'd have their collective crap together.

Now installing on my watch.

Edit: Took 44 minutes from start of download to installing.

Edit: 90 minutes from start of download to back on my wrist running Watch OS 2

Wow this is slow to download....... This is why iCloud is not a viable substitute for storage on the phone.... Maybe one day

Just did my first workout with 2.0. The calories are higher than they were (and they were too low).

So they finally fixed it ! Good thing !

On the down side, time lapse is good but you only see the time, which is useless :(

Why can't we add stuff like calendar, activity ring, etc. :(
