For those having issues with Dark Sky. At first it kept saying it couldn't determine my location. It was actually set to use my location always. Turned that to 'while using' then back to always. Then pulled up dark sky on watch successfully.

Thanks...this got it working.

But, having just the Dark Sky rain drop thingy is of little value to me. I want to see the temperature as with the stock app..

The planet images apple is using in their marketing work really well. Wish they would ad them to the motion or astronomy face.

Brutal spent hours trying to upgrade. A few times it crashed my iPhone 6+ on IOS ( (not sure why?) and had to reboot my watch before install started. Should be rolling in 35 minutes once installs done

Can the download be cancelled? It's been downloading 3 hours now, says 2 hours left on my 80Mbit connection

Edit: I restarted the phone, the watch, the airport extreme... just pauses the process

This is strange.... Updated watch and I can see the update as the faces now include the time lapse photos, etc, however, when checking on the phone under "software update" appears as "software up to date version 1.0.1"???? What's going on?

I see many people having this issue

Lol. Came up saying 15 minutes to download, took a little longer than that, then almost an hour to "verify" and install.

Up now though (straight from 1, didn't install any of the betas). Not exactly earth-shattering, but waiting for some nice native apps and third-party complications.

Biggest pain is that the modular watch face is still the only one to show upcoming events, which is so useful I end up staying with the ugliest watch face all the time.

The "Utility Face" and "Mickey" also show the Upcoming Evens on the bottom of the face, if you setup the complication to show it.

I'm seeing more than that. It did take 4 tries to get Dark Sky running this time though.

Not sure what's going on there, but I see more information.

Mine couldn't find the new update until I removed the beta profile and restarted. Found it after. Not sure if that had anything to do with it tho.

That's strange, because I still have the beta profile for 9.1 PB and didn't have issues with finding and installing the update.

activation lock appears to automatically activate if it's activated on your phone. At least it implies that on the apple id page on the watch app.

Still can't believe nitestand mode doesn't have atleast a brightness setting. Turning that thing on at night lights up the whole room!! I just want a very dim setting and an always on setting. Then I don't have to reach for my watch just to see what time it is.

i just wish it didn't have to be horizontal.

When I update apps or try to install / remove apps from the watch it just gets stuck either on installing / uninstalling.

Anyone else getting the same issue?

I can't find the activation lock setting, can someone tell me where it is?
I have the same question. I can't find the screen pictured on Apple's website anywhere…

Yeah I love Dark Sky, it became a bit unreliable though with the last few updates. Hoping they have been preparing an update to run native. I don't use the default weather app anymore now I have dark sky.

Same here . . . love Dark s
DARK SKY HAS UPDATED THEIR APP TO RUN NATIVELY WITH COMPLICATIONS ON WATCH OS2!

SO EXCITED IM SHOUTING!

Very cool. I love Dark Sky and like checking the temperature/weather when I'm out walking . . . but not possible previously without phone in tow.
