wOS is actually part of iOS. So you can't update wOS with the current iOS.
Yeah. I finally just gave up the Jailbreak on my old 5S and updated to the latest OS. Unpaired my watch from my jailbroken 6S+ and paired it to the 5S. I am now updating one of my three watches to the latest. Once it's done, I'll re-pair it back to my 6S+. Guess I'll have to do that with my other two watches as well.

Does watchOS 3.2 include the new AFPS file system for the watch?
Yes it does, overall capacity changed from 5.6 to 5.8 gigabytes, just as the overall capacity of iOS devices slightly increased. I was wondering this myself so I took a screenshot of my watch about screen before updating.

Unless your 6S+ has 10.3 it's not likely to pair. Again wOS requires the latest iOS to integrate.

how long did it take to install? the reason why i ask is i only have a half an hour to get this installed once i do get home then i have to be somewhere for awhile and i would like to get this updated before i have to leave...

i was able to get it downloaded at work but then i had to go and didnt have time to install.

usually this is posted on the front page. As I check my phone I decided to check the watch and sure enough.

thanks for posting this

Are you sure watchOS 3.2 has APFS added? I haven't found any literature online saying so aside from this comment.

Well Apple state it was on the previous release but never enabled or accessible, so no use really.
Apple does not discuss things like that at all. Not in the past, not now and most likely not ever. This is something the community found out.

Neither is there any documentation stating otherwise. There simply is no documentation about this at all so that leaves guessing. Out of the 3 (tvOS, watchOS and iOS), iOS is the more complex one and this one comes with APFS (there is clear documentation on that). From that regard it wouldn't surprise me if both tvOS and watchOS also use APFS as of now.

Ok. My other two watches on 3.1 will still work with the latest iOS version though correct? I did upgrade my 6S+ to the latest now. I haven't got a warning so far that they won't. I want to keep those two watches on 3.1 so that they can still work with my 6S on 10.1.1.

Am i the only one who noticed that watch faces like simple ,color and utility are laggy ? I mean when I go the the app layout it has a noticeable lag that wasn't present on watchOS 3.1.3. And also the astronomy and motion watch faces have no lag now although they had before ( going into the app layout screen ) I have Apple Watch series 1 ( the model that appeared with Apple Watch series 2 )

Yes delete and restart
What profile should be deleted? My Apple Watch doesn't have any profiles listed in Settings > General > Profiles, but Software Update shows "watchOS 3.1.3, Your software is up to date." I am trying to avoid updating my iPhone (currently on 10.2.1), so hopefully that is not the issue.

Hopefully theater mode is good for sleeping/night driving.
This is exactly why I've been excited for Theater Mode. Any time I move around in bed I get a bright light in my face from the watch. As long as theater mode still lets Alarms ring audibly, it will be great for sleeping.

I'm liking the new unlocking a mac sound. Much better than the DING!

When I check for the update it's says I'm on 3.1.3 and my software is up to date. Oh, and even though my watch is paired with my phone, and has never been unpaired, I keep getting a pop up saying it isn't paired. Yet the watch works fine. Wtf

You have to update the phone to the latest iOS first and then the update on the watch will show up. This is what I had to do.

Really? That's dumb, not everyone wants to update to the latest iOS the day it comes out.
As I stated before wOS is a part of iOS. For instance certain features are controlled on and by iOS so the iOS MUST be the same as the wOS to work together. For instance iOS has a completely new file system now (APFS). Do you expect Apple to write the new wOS to be backwards compatible with the last file system too?

Although if a watch is on 3.2 and you want to pair the watch to a phone on 10.2, the watch will still pair and function 100%. It's only if you are on 10.3 on the phone and the watch is still on 3.1, you will need to upgrade the watch. I just tried both of these scenarios and they are true.
[doublepost=1490660155][/doublepost]Actually, I think I got the above mixed up. You can use a watch on 3.1 on a phone running 10.3. I have two watches still on 3.1 running on my 10.3 iPhone.

Airplane mode fixed? When I turn airplane mode on, on iPhone, airplane is on watch. However I turn airplane off on phone, watch stays in airplane mode :(

I don't think there can be a fix for this - when the Watch is in Airplane Mode, all wireless communication is disabled, so the iPhone doesn't have a way to tell the Watch to disable Airplane Mode.

I'm guessing it doesn't include APFS because a bricked Watch means sending it back to Apple. Probably wanted to see what the fail rate was on iOS first.
