As I stated before wOS is a part of iOS. For instance certain features are controlled on and by iOS so the iOS MUST be the same as the wOS to work together. For instance iOS has a completely new file system now (APFS). Do you expect Apple to write the new wOS to be backwards compatible with the last file system too?
Forgive me, but then what new thing can this do?Yes with scribble or Siri voice

Erm, the software update function of the Watch app says I have watchOS 3.1.3 and that my software is up to date. Weird.
I have had my 42mm Series 0 require power reserve mode at the end of the day several times now, which I never had happen with watchOS 3.1Wife's 38mm gen 1 watch has had battery drain issues since updating. My 42mm gen1 hasn't had any battery life issues. I did a hard reset on her watch but the problem persists.
I checked through the thread, but I haven't seen any other reports of battery drain after the latest wOS update. Has anyone here had, or heard of people having battery life issue after the latest update?
