loving the siri watch face and overall the dock is far better and like how apps are now in a list. Looking forward to trying out the workout said of things

Has anyone seen an issue where it doesn't give a stand reminder at :50 past the hour? Not sure what is up with that.

Yes seem to happen to me all the time, could be more than just those notifications that I am missing.

Any fix for this? I too am noticing no stand notifications if I’m 10 minutes away to move. Also I do not receive a notification if I do secure that hour before it’s over

Mine is still showing 3.2.3 your software is up to date.. At least you got it to show up.

So is my series 0. Apple support tell me Watch OS4 is not available for the series 0.

Still not available on my Series 0. I have ios11 installed on the phone. Tried restarting the phone and watch with no luck. Also closed the watch app and still no love.
Apple support have just told me it's not available on Series 0

Just tried the Siri face.
Shows the weather, reminds me to breathe, and shows me what time is sunset today.
Switched back to my modular face in less than a minute.
I guess is useful only for people full of reminders and events in their calendar.

Are you sure about that, I've got it installed on my 1st gen. :)
I'm sure that's what they told me. But over on Mac Power Users on FB a couple of people have told me they have it on their series 0. So, I'll try some other things.

My first instinct too haha, a real disappointment. You can actually set the sources for the Siri Watch faces where it pulls the data from o curate a more person experience and even change the two measly complications, but there’s just not enough wow factor for me on the Siri Watch face. I feel like the ball was dropped here.

I also have Watch OS 4 installed on my S0 Apple Watch. Hopefully you find what works!

I am flabbergasted (and angry)!!
They removed my most frequently used feature. I used my apple watch as remote control for apple music on my iphone (which is connect my BT headphone to) and they removed that possibility!
With the music app you cannot browse your playlists on your iphone (apple music) anymore!
They want you to download these playlists to the apple watch and connect your bluetooth headphones to it, ridiculous!
This separation of AW and iphone goes too far!! Hopefully they bring it back soon!

The Siri complication is not a bad idea, since I find it more convenient to tap on the display rather than pressing the side buttons.
But I need to talk to Siri in order to get things done, so adding "Hey Siri" at the beginning of the request makes room for another complication.
I may give Siri face another chance in the future, I can see them improving it over time.

Hi,

My first post. My questions, being a pensioner if I buy an original watch with os4 and have no iPhone, can I use it for the heart monitoring and warning feature?

Thanks

I believe the feature is there.
Be careful that you're not viewing the "Whats Playing Next" music app on the watch vs iTunes on the Watch.
I'll give this a try as last night no music on my watch + iPhone with me on the gym floor + music over BT headphones the watch was able to control Playlists on phone.

I am totally 100% with you on this!!! I have reported this back to the devs at Apple. Awaiting to hear back

For people that have problem downloading or seen the new WatchOS 4 on their series 0. Make sure that you restart your iPhones and watches. go and check the updates. I have a series 0 and by doing this, im downloading WatchOS4 on my series 0.

Battery life on my gen 0 watch is slightly worse than WatchOS 3 (I'm using the Siri face so maybe the constant updating uses a lot more power).

Also, the alarm I put on my phone didn't buzz on my watch like earlier versions, nearly woke up late. The timer mirrors just fine, but gotta test the alarm again

Sorry if this has been answered already, but does the original Apple Watch get the enchanced heart rate stuff? Doesn’t seem like I have anything for resting or elevated monitoring.

I noticed this too on my original... sounds like no resting heart rate available...

Unfortunately, I’ve read from other posters that S0 users do not get this functionality of the “Resting Heart Rate” or “Walking Average” in the Health app. I must say though I do like the detailed charts with regards to heart rate during workouts and daily overall beats that show on the watch itself, Activity app and Health app. Watch OS 4 basically made the Cardiogram app disposable.

Got my eyes set on the S3 Nike + non LTE to take advantage of the advanced features. Only to wait for a little longer!
