I just want Now Playing in the control center. And if they absolutely refuse to do that, as they appear to, make it a complication. It was by far my most used feature of Watch OS 1 and 2. Since 3 it's been so much work to open it, it may as well not exist.

Can anyone confirm that you can no longer browse your Apple Music on your phone from the Apple Watch? Seems you can only see downloaded music residing on the watch.

My AW2 started the actual install process at 2:55PM. It is now 3:40PM and it is still not finished. I'm guessing it will be a total of an hour before completion. Need to go to the gym already. Grrrrr

The only 2 reasons that would make me buy Apple Watch:

- cellular
- arrhythmia detection

None of these is available yet in Europe and apparently you need to pay monthly fee to get cellular in the watch. Who cares if the Watch apps load 0.1 second faster?
I do, because now it's painfully slow and this is the biggest problem of the Apple Watch for what I am concerned.

I think I'll wait till next week or so to update my i6Plus and Watch OS.

The only thing I'm really interested in is getting rid of those round icons, maybe the flashlight on my watch.
Not sure if I want iOS11 on my iPhone 6 Plus, scared it's going to slow down but don't have any choice unless I want to pair my watch to my work iPhone8 Plus that I have coming but don't want to do that either.

Still hoping ATT or BestBuy does some type of trade in for a series 2 watch for series 3 in the coming months or for Black Friday. I'd hop on that.

Late in this game had to do groceries and prep for gym.

Curious - while my iPhone 7 was updating I wanted to get groceries with just my Jabra Sport and Nike + listening to music. I thought would local on device (AW S2) dictation work? New sms number, sms text, Things! Entry data, etc?

Answer NOPE!

But will WatchOS 4 allow for this? I’ve just begun installation.

You can always trade in your Apple Watch at Best Buy. Go to the Trade In Center and it will give you an estimate for your device. I plan to do that when Best Buy receives stock of the Nike + AW3 GPS. My S0 as of yesterday is worth $89. Coupled with a Rewards Zone $20 I might as well get the Celluar version and not activate it.

Just be sure to do an encrypted back up of your iPhone before trading it in if you’ve reached all of your goals for the day...don’t want to mess up a streak or miss a day that you technically completed!

The download of an hour there really isn't an excuse for. Apple had plenty of time to set aside server space for this and chose not to.

As for the install, others have suggested the speed of each individual home wifi network, but I have a feeling it may be installing through bluetooth which is super SLOW. It usually takes me around a half hour.

Can anyone confirm if the AW update is installed using wifi or bluetooth?

Since there is no wi-fi chip in the watch, it’s definitely Bluetooth.

I know they roll this out geographically but I have never had to wait this long for the update to pop up on release day. I'm in NY. Anyone in the NY/Long Island area see the update yet?

I prefer grid view to list view.

AW2 upgrade to WatchOS 4 around 1hr. That's not bad at all.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind but hoping for lit bit better deal. Like trade in the watch, pay $100 and maybe have agree to 6 months or so of wearable service through ATT.

I have series 2 so it's no rush or biggie to go to the series 3. Mostly wishful thinking

Has anyone that had already downloaded iOS 11 GM been able to get the watchOS 4 update? I am on iOS 11 GM and it still says 3.2.3 for me. I know that is the case for tons of people but I just want to know if anyone who is on the 11 GM has been able to download watchOS 4.

What is the deal with deleting the beta profile? Is that necessary? What does it do?

Thanks!
