There's no chance the new models will be slower!I have a series 0 Apple watch. Any chance the new models do the OS update faster? Getting a series 3 Friday. Would be nice if future watch OS updates don't take half a day.

I do, because now it's painfully slow and this is the biggest problem of the Apple Watch for what I am concerned. The only 2 reasons that would make me buy Apple Watch:
- cellular
- arrhythmia detection
None of these is available yet in Europe and apparently you need to pay monthly fee to get cellular in the watch. Who cares if the Watch apps load 0.1 second faster?
Yes seem to happen to me all the time, could be more than just those notifications that I am missing.Has anyone seen an issue where it doesn't give a stand reminder at :50 past the hour? Not sure what is up with that.
Still has not showed up for me either. The update still hasn’t showed up for me. Anyone else having this problem?
Still hoping ATT or BestBuy does some type of trade in for a series 2 watch for series 3 in the coming months or for Black Friday. I'd hop on that.
The download of an hour there really isn't an excuse for. Apple had plenty of time to set aside server space for this and chose not to.
As for the install, others have suggested the speed of each individual home wifi network, but I have a feeling it may be installing through bluetooth which is super SLOW. It usually takes me around a half hour.
Can anyone confirm if the AW update is installed using wifi or bluetooth?
Since there is no wi-fi chip in the watch, it’s definitely Bluetooth.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind but hoping for lit bit better deal. Like trade in the watch, pay $100 and maybe have agree to 6 months or so of wearable service through ATT.You can always trade in your Apple Watch at Best Buy. Go to the Trade In Center and it will give you an estimate for your device. I plan to do that when Best Buy receives stock of the Nike + AW3 GPS. My S0 as of yesterday is worth $89. Coupled with a Rewards Zone $20 I might as well get the Celluar version and not activate it.
Just be sure to do an encrypted back up of your iPhone before trading it in if you’ve reached all of your goals for the day...don’t want to mess up a streak or miss a day that you technically completed!
