How can I know if I have the 5G issue?

Reboot the phone and run a speedtest.
Now run a second, then third test. The speed gets slower and slower.
I have an up to 350Mb/s broadband at home, I could get around 180-200 Mb/s on first run and very quickly it'd go down to around 50 Mb/s.

I tried before and after 12.0.1 and I went from 160 Mb/s and falling on 12.0 to 250-260 on 12.0.1 on every speed tests.

New bug:

Settings -> General -> About
Airpods now show up under "Second SIM" when the lid flips up.

Makes absolutely no sense... why did it move down from the original block of data, not even in "Primary SIM" ... but "Second SIM"???

(EDIT: Granted, this issue might only exist in models that have e-SIM)

Why does this matter?

Well, happy they put back the 123 button on the iPad. If they also take the feedback seriously and restore the multitasking, control centre and gestures like on iOS 11, I'll finally update to 12 on my iPad as well.

On 12.1 beta 2 MAX XS it is still under the primary block of data above both sim data

How's multitasking and gestures different? 4-finger swipe and all that are still there. I love the control centre changes though, as they are consistent with my iPhone X now.

Yea well the majority of users don't have (or want) an iPhone X(S). 4-finger swipe and 5-finger collapse are still there, gladly. By gestures I also mean the way you swipe up and hold to invoke app switcher (on 12) compare to the simple swipe on the 11. And a app switcher with the cc makes a lot more sense than fragmenting it into two layers that you have to exit separately.

Like they kept the old gestures (eg bottom CC) on the TouchID iPhone gens, the same should happen with the iPad. They did a decent job with iOS 11, shaping the iPad into its "own" kind of device category after being much maligned as a "oversized iPhone". With those changes on 12, done haphazardly just for consistency rather than usability, they threw it back to the oversized iPhone (X) state again.

Just went to download the update on ny X and got ‘a error occured downloading the update’ now im downloading the full installer which is 2gb

When will the update come for the calibration of your terrible new oled screens. They are way to warm. Consider this a warning. If it’s not a simple software fix and a hardware fix. Apple needs to acknowledge it. I paid way to much for this promoted as superior display to end up as being the worst garbage with a yellow tint to the display. I’m gathering thousands of other complaintants and will bring class action. I want my money back on the iPhone X right now. If your listening Apple today is day 17 of this garbage iPhone X’s Max. If you want my mouth to shut then you need to reach out to me with a full refund and opportunity to get my iPhone X back. Apple you need to be consistent in your product. Especially the displays. And especially when your promoting as the best ever. It’s a lie and you know it. So now I’ll be expecting the phone call from that ******** named John in your Texas office.

That keyboard thing was so stupid. Apple used to understand that you pin the most commonly used controls at the corners. They need a UI czar to address all the dumb inconsistencies and bad ideas they’ve introduced lately.

I hadn’t even noticed the iPad “.123?” Button had moved. But now that I think about it I was getting the emoji keyboard far more often than usual
It has annoyed me to no end LOL. I don't type on it a lot but now I notice every single time when I'm typing because it moved the button.

Interesting that they list the "not-charge if the screen is off" as purely an iPhone XS issue—happened to me last night on my iPad Air 2.
