"with Dark Fusion activating in medium or low light"
Should be "Deep Fusion" not Dark Fusion which isn't a thing.
Can’t we just call it “mad science” instead? Phil did. Mad Science mode it is then.

Smart HDR on the iPhone XS is very good for landscapes, sunsets, etc, but it is pretty terrible for skin tones in general. On harsh lighting it recovers too much of the highlights making people appear flat and often times orange. It is so bad that when I see such pictures, I can instantly tell it was taken with an iPhone XS.You can turn off Smart HDR too. I think the gen 2 of it (on the newer iPhones) looks better, although the difference is not huge. I'd happily trade slightly orange looking people to having beast dynamic range.
My sweater game is ready.
More control is better.
Yeah yeah yeah, deep whatever. The more important question: does 13.2 include the sloth emoji?
Why won't they activate this for xs max? The hardware can't handle it?
Typical Apple!
Is it even confirmed or just going by that article?
Wrong. Deep Fusion will be available on ALL iPhone 11 seriesThe regular iphone 11 does not have a telephoto lens so i guess it is for pro users
The hardware may handle it, but it will process much slower and the results won't look as good as the iPhone 11. Apple doesn't want people with the older generation to get inconsistent results, so they will just release it to the newest ones. Why won't they activate this for xs max? The hardware can't handle it?

I don't see what's bad about wanting an option to turn something like this on/off. To each ones own. I don't know if I'd like it or not but I wouldn't be opposed to having a choice, myself. You haven't even seen it in action yet and you already wish it could be turned off?![]()
