Punishing me when I spent untold hours, sacrificed my time with my wife and kids, and lived (and still do!) as a broke college kid by allowing a less qualified, lower GPA, lower MCAT score student access to a medical school is real empathy.

This isn't what affirmative action is, and it's never happened to you anyway.

There are certain things you are not allowed to comment on without being called a racist, bigot, etc. I know you know this.

I’m not talking insulting someone—I’m talking about stating certain perhaps inconvenient facts

And I'm asking for examples.

I'm glad you're the expert. It also happened to my brother who is a physician. He was straight up told by a very sweet African American woman who works at Case Western that he would not be getting financial aid due to his skin tone, so he elected to go another medical school. There is absolutely a quota of acceptances based on race and in many other occupations. Rewarding someone a position based on skin tone is exactly what affirmative action is and is precisely what racism is.

See, when I read that term “Social justice warrior” all I think Is this person is deep in the right wing propaganda. What’s wrong with fighting for social justice?

Because "social justice", just like "hate speech" can be defined in an infinite number of ways. And since right now ALL major social media is controlled by the left, they get to decide who gets shut down. As a thinking person I don't want someone else to tell me what is right or wrong. If a content provider is considered offensive or nuts, it is because someone else has painted them in that light. But I want to listen to both sides and decide for myself. If I think they are wrong I simply don't listen to them any more. I want that right.

I believe the earth is round but I want to hear to the flat-earthers side of it. Same with 9/11, the moon landings, and other "conspiracy theories". We all have the right to hear and decide for OURSELVES.

Today it is difficult to hear both sides because the MSM and Social Media companies are shutting down opposing ideologies via tar and feather tactics that amount to slander. Words like Nazi and a whole playbook of words that end in ism and/or ist are used to attack and shut people down. Unproven accusations have become the norm for silencing opposing opinions. Did it go to court and was he actually convicted? No, but I read on Facebook and Twitter that he was guilty.....

The left accuse the right of being fascists, yet it is THEY who are shutting down dissenting opinion everywhere. And that is EXACTLY what fascists do. And that alone, scares the h_ll out of me because that is a VERY slippery slope.

More left wing companies removing freedom of speech
[doublepost=1533553428][/doublepost]Im sorry but now days hate speech is speaking out againt the main stream media, right wing youtubers dont always say hate they just speak the truth but are silenced by the left

Conservatives don’t even know what is and isn’t free speech, but they do know how to play the role of the eternal victim. Today’s conservatives have twisted words in the most Orwellian ways, you guys think calling every victim of a mass shooting a “crisis actor”, or blabbering about Hillary Clinton’s “underage sex slave pizza dungeon” is “speaking the truth”.

Couldn’t be a more clueless, indoctrinated bunch of ignoramuses to ever exist. The American right is the laughing stock of the world, diving head first into the depths of full on insanity.

About time Apple and other companies remove that filth from their platforms.

Hateful.

You say ANYTHING IN ALL CAPS and yet this is the third time I'm asking for what should be really easy examples to pull off the top of your head.
I’m doing this from an iPhone on a train.

Will give you example when I reach a real keyboard

You are the very epitome of the tolerant, we all have a voice, we are all equal...left.

This sort of simplistic analysis of the last election result is exactly what will cause him to win another term. Writing it off to “racism and xenophobia” makes for a convenient talking point but not much else.
1. Note the :p
2. What would cause him to win the election is the further conservative acceptance of his corruption and lies. Not the identification of racism and xenophobia in his base.

Interesting to watch Apple descend like this in sync with the other big name tech giants adopting political activism stance and actions, it's a real bad move - very seriously considering cancelling all Apple services and I don't even listen to infowars but what is going on across the net is political silencing 101 it just so happens it's via corporate entities, the real Q is, why suddenly now eh?

Ask yourself this - Many of these platforms or sites been around a long time... why now Apple? Why now Google? Why now Youtube? Why now Facebook? Why now Twitter?

You'd be almost forgiven for thinking there was some shared agenda at play here.

You say ANYTHING IN ALL CAPS and yet this is the third time I'm asking for what should be really easy examples to pull off the top of your head.

Well, I'll provide an example from my devil's advocate basket of goodies:

Here in the Bay Area we've had a problem with crime on the BART train system. Most of the crime occurs in the East Bay, particularly areas of Oakland. Most of the perpetrators of the crime are black, in particular a few instances when waves of black teenagers swarmed the trains and stole phones and tablets out of riders' hands. BART police were notably quiet about reporting this, and the race of the perpetrators was not initially mentioned (despite the fact that it's often mentioned in describing criminals). BART police have been repeatedly criticized for not publicizing the crime that occurs on the trains and at the stations. It's not racist to say that black teenagers have been committing crimes on BART. It's a fact. But fear of being labeled racist may have led to these instances being underreported.

The left can't compete on the battlefield of ideas. They get trounced every time. They lost the House of Representatives, they lost the Senate, they lost the White House and they lost the vast majority of Governorships.

Their only option is full-blown authoritarian censorship. They know that when they engage in debate, they get trounced. You have seen this on campus for years. And now it is seeping into society at large. It will only get worse with these authoritarians.

You act like that’s a tough question. Why now? Because our intelligence agencies and multiple investigations have confirmed that these misinformation campaigns are real and dangerous.
