Apple Removes Mention of White iPhone 4 From Online Store

Yeah, saw this coming with the latest delay.

You can't roll out the second color choice in the tail end of the product run.

I expect they've learned (at some high cost) how ~not~ to do a colored iPhone. They'll most likely be able to take everything they learned and apply it to a the iPhone 5.

iPhone coming to Verizon in January

Apple only releases a new iPhone for AT&T in June.

I think that they will release the current gen. phone (iPhone 4) for Verizon every January, to offset the 1 year rotation of new product hype. Allowing AT&T to receive the phone first though would allow for AT&T to waive the fee for Apple breaking their exclusivity contract.

Therefore, I think it will go like this:

June 2010 - iPhone 4 debuted for AT&T
January 2011 - iPhone 4 released for Verizon (white version possibly)
June 2011 - iPhone 5 debuted for AT&T
January 2012 - iPhone 5 released for Verizon
etc...

For that matter buy some white film at home decorating centers and apply if it's that important.

A better suggestion is if you want a white one and they dont have it.. MOVE ON TO ANOTHER MODEL OR WAIT UNTIL ANOTHER IPHONE COMES OUT.

Why should people settle for black when they waited this long for white?

Thats like buying a Red car, but you really really wanted black. Why spend money you something you dont like aesthetically?

I just checked yesterday after I heard the rumor they were going to not make the white model and it still said unavailable.
Once I heard spring of '11 I said there is no point in releasing it now.

I've worked on their video campaigns for previous iPhones (not v4) and they have been CG renders out of Cinema 4D for the most part. Their interaction videos have been real devices, but heavily 'altered' in post to show apps loading faster, etc.

Not surprised with the "false advertising" of the apps loading faster. My 3G loads apps slower than a walrus walking the beach.

I will go so far as to offer this post that I think this is sad. Sad as in kind of pathetic. And I'm an Apple fanatic.

Personally, though, I prefer black in my accessories and have generally been very happy with my iPhone 4. The 3G was ready to go, and the 4 rocks its ass all over the place.

Clearly, the market has thought so, too. Sales have been phenomenal, "Antennagate" or no.

and here i was thinking that i was gonna get a white iPhone on launch day.. lol

when i heard that best buy was gonna have them i was like.. oooh i'm going to best buy at 2pm the day before..

i ended up going to the apple store by 3 pm the day before and got out of there by 11am on launch day.. and the line was so small by then after being 500 people.. i wish i would've just come on launch day around 2 pm i would've had to wait for like 1 hour instead of 22 hours.. ugh.. not doing that again..

What difference does the color make anyway? If you stick it in a sleeve you probably can't tell that much. But I've always preferred darker colors anyway. I'm heathen that way

Might not be a bad idea if it's the phone, and not simply the color causing your anxiety. The Win7 phone may be a decent product. Time will tell. I guarantee you it will be more secure than Android.
