There has been so many issues with the software and such lately I would wait a bit before upgrading. My reminders don’t even work right now after 3 bug fix updates. This is crazy.

you can never feel bad waiting it out. I’d wait until next month at least

I’m having reminders problems too. iOS 12.x I never had issues with reminders, but I’ll be lucky if I get them on any version of iOS 13 so far. I use reminders for medications, cuz I’m forgetful. But iOS 13 reminders are more forgetful than me

Wrong !

The 15% iPhone Tariff hits on Dec 15th, & Apple needs to get as many 2019 iPhones as possible into the Sales Channel BEFORE then !!!

The units need to clear customs & NOT be in a Warehouse !

Two are the two main criteria, else they will get hit with the 15% tariff (starting on Dec 15th).

NOT a single so-called Pro Stock Analyst who covers AAPL for a living has yet picked up on this, NOR even a single Regular on CNBC !

A Fool & his Money are soon parted !

About 90% of the SKUs are sold out here and have been since launch day (outside of the US). Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

2020 might be a better year to upgrade then with a notch-less iPhone 12 Pro/Pro Max coming as well as a budget friendly SE successor similar to the iPhone 8 externally, but more similar to a iPhone 11 internally. Those are two iPhones on my radar.
I’ve replaced my iPhone 7 Plus with a notch screen iPhone XS Max and plan on replacing that with a notch screen iPhone 11. IMO the majority of the people obsessed with the notch aren’t using an iPhone.

So you're saying Apple didn't know about the tariffs until now?

No. You're wrong there.

was actually interested in the 11 pro max but the price in singapore is 2k for a 256gb model and 1.7k for a 64gb.

sorry but unless this phone can make me breakfast and wipe my ass, it is not worth 2k. not just the iphone, no phone is worth 2k.

for comparison, 2k can get me an asus zenbook with change for a 2019 ipad.

or a surface pro 6/7 with change for a 2019 ipad.

or a new pc with a 2070ti on AMD zen 2 with 16gb ram, 1tb ssd and a 144hz gaming monitor.

or 4 boxes of cuban cigars.

or 17 bottles of whisky.

or 13 bottles of quality cognac.

or stock up my entire bar.

or get drunk and die of liver failure in 1 night.

these would all be more viable choices than spending it all on a phone.
This! Although I appreciate your approach, I would recommend a Nokia 3310 if you are searching for a phone instead of a life-organiser with multi-value life dimension management ;)

All I was hearing was what a dud this year would be. Guess thats what I get when I come on MacRumors and read all the negativity and believe some of it.
Weird, huh. I heard hundreds of voices shouting how there was nothing new about the then-upcoming iPhone except a horrible camera bump, and Apple would only have to make a dozen of them, because nobody would buy it. It's almost as if the "Apple is horrible and doomed" contingent don't know what they're talking about.

Underwhelming for who and who? Perhaps for those who own last year’s device (even that you cannot be sure), but there are many more upgrading from quite older handsets. Again, who are the “most of the buyers” who plan or returning theirs? You must be some kind of wizard.
I had a xs max last year and completely satisfied with my 11 pro max upgrade

Increasing production only means strong demand compared to their expectation, it says nothing in general about the demand.

This also proves that it doesn't matter what people think about a new iPhone, people upgrade their phone when they need to/can with their carrier, not when they really want to.

The one advantage the iPhone 11 has over the iPhone XR is the centered  logo on the back. Other than that, it’s the same phone.

How about the fact the 11 has two cameras instead of one?
Night mode?

Sure, its not worth an upgrade from the XR but if you have a 7 or an 8, the camera difference would be worth the extra £100 to get the 11 over the XR in my opinion.

It’s good for people-for releasing SE2-who like small phone!!
But making a 5.4” phone on 2020 is complete waste of money and time..
As I’m a huge fan of 5.8” iphone, I would love to see full screen display on 5.8” on 2020 lineup!!
I hope most of the adults chose 5.8” iphone because of its comfortable size!!!!

Looks like you are WRONG here. Open Reuters or CNBC and you will see this story everywhere.

Stock is up big in premarket. In one thing you’re right though: a fool and his money are soon parted!

Gosh. You'd rather commit suicide than buy a new iPhone. Not a fan of the 11, huh.

I've just upgraded from my 6S to the 11 (non-pro) and am really happy with it. Got it for a good price in a one-day sale here. As an added bonus, I don't have enough cash left to go suicide-by-barman. I do have enough to get part way there though, so that's tonight sorted.

...

2K in your dollar? That translates to roughly US$1450 for 11Pro Max 256GB.. Yeah the price is crazy high for a phone, but some countries had it even worse. Especially if that region don't have an official Apple Store, those premium resellers are pesky bug who sells the phone for more margin, and lesser quality when it comes to service and support.
