Don't criticize Apple for their maps, criticize TomTom, who gives Apple their maps.
For the life of me, I can not understand that statement.
I used it and it was wrong. How does anyone at Apple know it was wrong so they can fix it?
I'll try not to let Mapple get me stuck in the ocean in the meantime.
Can you download from the app store ?![]()
They didn't say anything particular. Just a casual PR sheit. Screw them, looking forward for Google Maps. It turned out iOS 6 is considered as a definite downgrade. No YouTube, no Maps, WTF?
Yes that's true. Yet to the average user they couldn't tell the difference because Gmail worked so wellWasn't gmail in beta for like its first 5 years!?
Indeed, not to mention Apple themselves will not exactly be willing to immediately approve a better alternative....
there are already hundreds of apps that are better. Only reason they wouldn't do it right away is because it is google.
Except the new YouTube official app by Google is infinitely better than the stock iOS 5 one... Maybe we'll go a few days without Google Maps, but if the rumors about Google Maps app actually come true, we'll be better off with both options.
