These shirts are kind of boring, but I guess that's apple style (minimalist).

Yes :) Personal hygiene was also an issue.
Sadly have to agree... I've dealed with a few Apple employees who really need a shower, dandruff shampoo, and toothbrush.

I know Apple is relaxed with it's dress code but they should at least enforce hygiene.

You know its a fashion expert selling that Apple Watch because of the zebra carpet.

This thread has some of the funniest comments I've seen in a while. Thanks! :D

Kudos to you all. You know who you are.

Good luck convincing a tony buyer to part with $10,000-17,000 with someone wearing this. Even better, convincing said buyer to trust tattooed and/or pierced employee with dreadlocks with your Black American Express or VISA card.

That's the superficial view. The way I see it, there are plenty of stores where the sales people wear cheap suits that don't fit with the personality at all. Apple is so sure in the quality of the product that they don't have to try to dress up their employees. And obviously that tattooed and/or pierced employee with dreadlocks wouldn't be an Apple employee if they couldn't be trusted. It's quite the opposite: Apple wouldn't have hired that person if they weren't really, really good at their job.

can you see me now?

They need to go back to brightly colored shirts. Was in the Apple store this weekend and with the 'regular' blue shirts you really couldn't find any employees - they look just like all the other customers now.

I don't like the dark shirts, they blend in too much. The old ones were more visible. Even the greeter said he had to look closely to pick out an employee when the store is crowded.

Sounds like these new shirts align well with the design language that Jony implemented with iOS and OSX (i.e., low contrast).

Cheapest looking shirts I've seen them wear since I can remember. Nice job Angela. What some Costco in Cali have a huge sale or what??

Sometimes they end up on Ebay after the fact. That's how I got my Apple hockey jersey from the OS X launch in Canada.
