Obviously your exclamation mark key is working properly.
I'm aware of how the SD card works. The largest Micro SD card you can get is 64 GB, so the storage difference isn't mind blowing. And for the record I've had two micro SD cards go bad. One was shorted out because the seating had condensation build-up from skiing and being in my jacket, and the second simply failed.
All I'm saying is that removable media isn't the forward-looking killer feature that some people make it out to be. You save $150, and that argument is fair.
The difference in price (in the UK) between a 16GB iPhone and a 64GB iPhone is £170. Why then should I have to pay that much to expand my phone by 32GB, when I can regulary buy a 32GB SD card for around £25; and not be forced to decide from day one which phone to buy (and perhaps regret not buying one with more memory at a later date). One of the great things about my Samsung and Lumia 820 is I can upgrade as I choose, simply and cheaply.
As for your argument about SD cards going bad; I've NEVER had this issue despite having purchased hundreds over the years (as a photographer). To have 2 cards go wrong suggests you're buying some nasty rubbish! I also buy class 10 cards; but even if I was to buy a cheap class 3, the difference in speed (on a mobile phone) would be totally negligable (although I'm sure we'll now get a thread of replies quoting millisecond differences between media!)
You're other point about the difference between 16GB and 64GB not being 'mind blowing' also (along with buying poor quality SD cards) shows your lack of understanding about memory; the difference between the information (images, music, video) you can carry on a 64GB phone versus a 16GB is significant - its THOUSANDS of photo's, THOUSANDS of songs and perhaps around 32 movies or more.
At the end of the day though, other manufacturers give you option of upgarding, Apple dont, and its pretty sad and a sign of desperation when iPhone users (as I once was myself!) try to convince others that this feature (use it or not) is a negative; either down to pure jelousy, trying to defend their purchase to the nth degree whilst denying Apple are really just milking them for more money .... or of course, just stupidity!
No, it isnt a 'killer feature', but it is a feature the S3 has which the iPhone doesnt, along with NFC, wireless charging and a better screen ... all features I use and all the reasons why I ditched my iPhone (after buying them for the past 6 years) for a Samsung. The fact there are people on forums engaging in petty arguments (my phone is better than yours) when clearly thats not the case is, as I said above, just sad and desperate!
