So will the phone be physically smaller or will they extend the screen size on the present frame?

I hope it is the latter.

"The site still believes one premium model with a curved edge-to-edge OLED display will be sold alongside two models that have standard LCD displays."

If this holds true my 6s will be my last iPhone because Apple is incapable of doing what every other company has been doing: keeping parity between phone sizes.

I knew I was right not to skip the iPhone 7, and I'll just trade it in using the Apple Upgrade Program, or sell it for more and still upgrade to the 8... This way I get to enjoy the latest technology instead of trying to convince everyone else (actually myself) that I did the right thing by skipping the 7

Well I did wonder if Touch ID would be incorporated as part of the handset from 2017 based on the recent MacBook Pro "leak".

However I dread to think how much it'd cost to repair if you dropped your phone!

Isn't 5" too close in size to the 4.7 and 5.5?

We know their footprints will be smaller that the current ones, so I can't say how nice they'll hit in the had. Better obviously but I would stilll like a smaller more pocketable. Maybe a compact 4.3"

Agree! I just don't like that opening where the speaker is for listening to phone calls, seems like in the way, can't think of other place where they can put it

The newly released images of the Macbook Pro did not show an actual button for the finger print. So maybe it's going to be under the glass! awesome.

Until there are fundamental changes to iOS, I won't care what it looks like.

I like good and interesting aesthetics as much as the next guy, but I'm not a poseur.

What really matters (to me, of course) is what I can DO with the device.

So, let's see what Apple comes up with, but I'm not holding my breath.

In the meantime, my Note5 is the minimum requirement to meet my needs.
