So, 65% of Devices are suffering right now

65% aren't satisfied. iOS 11 worst version!

Speak for yourselves; my 7 Plus and 9.3 iPad Pro seem to be very happy running it.

Unlike you guys I'm not going to generalize and assume everyone's fine. I can quite believe many folk have problems; however many more seem to be just super-fine with it on.

Well when your Operating System is full of bugs and causing many phones to be almost useless, of course people don't want to upgrade. This is the first time I regretted upgrading my devices to the new OS because I have had numerous problems. My wife upgraded her 6 Plus on accident and it was completely unusable for her. She had to get a new phone, which we really did not want to do this year. My 6s also had a lot of problems.

We both got iPhone 8 Plus (BOGO), and while better, there are still a lot of bugs. iOS 11 does not "just work." This is the worst operating system I have seen from Apple and I have been in the developer program/betas for years. I seriously considered switching over to a Samsung phone, if I am going to deal with bugs I might as well be able to customize my phone. (Only reason I didn't is because the wife has trouble figuring out Android and hates change. LOL)

Get your **** together Apple.

Was / is iOS 11 buggy? Yeah, but it's not that much worse than 10. IMO theres more reason to upgrade than to not upgrade - I'm running an iPhone 6+ (I hope it's still supported on iOS 12 later this year) and have not replaced my battery ever. If I am being throttled, I don't notice. My QOL is excellent, and other than the bleeding edge initial release bugs, I question how badly people are really suffering from iOS 11.

Yeah, most people around me only updated very recently because of Spectre and Meltdown. I would've still been rocking iOS 10 until iOS 12 comes out later this year. Control Center and Notification Center / Lockscreen are a hot mess of inconsistency and fugliness.

Yep, without Spectre & Meltdown I would have stayed with iOS 10. Admittedly it's nice that Safari on iOS 11 does away with the slow scrolling that annoyed me previously, but otherwise my love for the new version is rather limited.

I don't hate iOS 11, but these numbers mean NOTHING since everyone is required to update. Sure, you can let it sit in system preferences and let the device bug you about it everyday for the rest of it's life.

If there's not clear cut and simple choice to opt out, then these numbers are hollow.

I'm still happily on 10.3.3. Don't want to upgrade until 11.3 has gone through some 11.3.x updates.

Me to Love iOS 10.3.3 on my iphone6s
My work phone is a iPhone 7 with ios11 and it's a little bag with random lag and short freezes when switching apps

Sticking with iOS 10 on my iPhone7+, iPad5 and with Sierra on my 5k iMac and MacBook.

Apple's system updates have rendered this iMac unusable for 9 months, and slowed down devices, so I have very little trust in their OS these days. Rather let others make that sacrifice and then upgrade when I know everything is settled and bug-free. So thanks to all those that update regularly!

My i8+ works fine with iOS 11, but it’s the only one on it because it shipped with it. All others are on 10.3.3. I will eventually update, but probably on the near final releases before iOS 12

LoL at Apple always boasting their empty stats about how many users are a imprisoned on a newer iOS version

I wonder what the percentage would actually be if users could downgrade from iOS 11 once they discovered all the bugs, slower performance, decreased battery life, etc?

I definitely would have downgraded back to 10.3.3.

11.2.2 seems to be fine. Battery life has gotten a little better vs anything pre-11.2 and apps aren't freezing on me anymore.

It's on three of mine, and if I could undo that mistake, I would.

A more useful statistic would be, how many of those 65% are happy having irreversibly hobbled their machines with iOS11.

Dont understand honestly, all my devices are day 1 updated, always have been for like 8 years now. Never had a single issue except on 5s there was a glitch where drained overnight but that was patched in like a week. I got it, different devices do diff things. However everything ive ever owned has been flawless from iPads to iPhones on ios11

I can assure you with 100% certainty that I will not upgrade to iOS 12 when it comes out next year. I will wait until it has been out at least 6-9 months before I even think about upgrading. Sorry Apple, your poor Quality Control has caused me to lose my trust in you.

Or.......you could see it this way: Might be that iOS 12 will be much-MUCH better than iOS 11 ever is/was, if that's the case you will take the jump instantly.
