I guess he doesn't know the first thing about what he is talking about? He said “I guess” and put a question mark. Of course it’s just his speculation!

The expert has spoken 😂Yes, yes—of course, we'll let everyone know that their devices need to be repaired because we love having to perform thousands of free repairs/device swaps and inflate our refurbished inventory.
While a repair may not be necessary, this is like buying a "new" car that has 50,000 miles on the engine already. If this issue has happened to you, your camera's IBIS system has been stressed far beyond what it would have been, and you should go in and try to get a replacement as soon as possible.
You mean like with a software update? 🙄Users can still file lawsuits against Apple. The US may not have consumer law like Australia but make enough noise and the law will force Apple to make customers happy.
What is the major hardware upgrade beside processor. Its the Camera.
Many people asking, how it can damage. During normal operation there is no sound of any kind during image stabilization. But with this violent vibrations, there is a noise which indicates sensor hitting lens, or walls or etc. This physical hitting of sensor damages it, damages suspension and magnetic coils being used for balance and stabilization. A software may prevent that violent shaking but the phone being through already should be considered damaged. How expensive it will be to repair phone once out of warranty. If Hardware issue, apple will take years to acknowledge.
I’m wondering if the problems with the iPhone 14/pro lineup is due to everyone at Apple working from home. What else would Apple say? 😄
According to them, a "small percentage" of the keyboards in certain MacBooks are affected by butterfly failures.
It’s a jitterbug.Sounds to me like a software bug. As if the focus routine is caught in an infinite loop.![]()
You should take care to vibrate with inverted phase though. If you vibrate at the same frequency you don't notice it.
You win!Source?
Relaying information or misinformation?I’m just relaying information as I come across it. Has Apple ever made a misstatement before? Everything is still up in the air and nothing is certain - yet…
I write code a develop apps, specifically the integration of hardware with software not initially developed together.Odd that it doesn’t impact apples camera. I wish I knew enough code to understand the problem - very interesting.
Fixed it
I mean if it effected phones apple would run a diagnostic and we’d know which are effected but again we have one year warraanty anyway.Relaying information or misinformation?
The problem is things like this get repeated so many times that they become what people think are facts. Maybe this is true and there’s some camera expert who has taken the thing apart and found this out. Maybe this is just completely made up by some YouTube contact creator just for views. I honestly don’t know but I think this is something we need to get to the bottom of. The only credible information we have right now is from Apple saying that there is no hardware damage. Sure Apple has some interest in the outcome so there’s that.
Sorry to burst your misinformation campaign telling everyone that their sensor might be scratched. You win!
Hardware failure is impossible as Apple says so.
Have a good evening…
I’m sure also in a few days someone will take it apart to confirm.Relaying information or misinformation?

And were also holding our phones wrong 💩You win!

Its exactly like what other people are posting. Also not giving away my metadata.CAn you post these blurry images
I only seen one post. I don’t get it.Its exactly like what other people are posting. Also not giving away my metadata.
This is of course “Macrumors.com” and not a court of law. Apple is one voice and then there are others. Big corporations are not the only ones with a voice of authority. Let each reader put a value on each post and come to their own conclusions. It’s called the free flow of information - the internet. All sides all the time…Relaying information or misinformation?

You said it's wild speculation why does it have to be wild speculation ? Since quality control is no longer the same even final version now feels like beta software with issues and glitches. It is better to look to facts and if the facts are not their yet, wait before wildly speculate either direction to fit your built in narrative.
