I am trying another 10.5 instead. I like the second gen pencil a lot, but I just can’t pull the trigger with the 2018 iPad Pros (there are other reasons too). While I understand stuff happens in the manufacturing process this explanation does not sit well with me.

Problem with the 10.5 is the bright white spot after months of use....trust me it will come.

You know what, I need to draw the line here. This iPad Pro cost me $2000, it does exactly the same things as my four year old iPad which only cost me $500 at the time, and I'm too scared of being affected by one of these quality issues like I just went through with my 5K iMac because Apple support is so poor now. I think I will try a souped up windows tablet running macOS inside a VM. It's sad to see such unrealized potential with a product like iPad. Give me floating windows, mouse support, launch hardware that's built properly, and you'll get all of my money Apple!

Apple response team with the jokes as always. Instead of admitting it's a defect (manufacturing error), responds with "it's normal"

They tried telling me that it was "normal" once at an Apple store when I brought back a MacBook Pro with a few dead pixels. Funny that not a single Mac on display had a dead pixel...

I don't care how normal it is, Apple products are not normal prices so you will swap it until I'm happy, or refund my money.

Apple can't be serious...

So, wait, are you talking about bending, price or how you want a mouse pointer?

Luckily I only own an iphone in the ecosystem.
And I've bought every iphone since the 3GS (I think just not the 4S or 5S)

I think this XS Max is my last Apple product. Prices going up dramatically and quality is going down with silly excuses like this.

I think my next phone will be OnePlus; a few compromises at $550 full price is one thing.
