Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8G4 Safari/6533.18.5)

Too early for lion, and it's close enough to WWDC that Apple would just announce whatever's coming there. Bet it's just training.

Ok, I love Apple products but this is going a bit far in their quest to have everything top secret, NDA, covered windows, etc.... This is the side of Apple I don't care for, making a huge spectacle over every new/upgraded product that they release....come on....

Gotta be PowerBook G5 or headless iMac...

Very simple. It's the new, mostly-free MobileMe+iCloud+iTunes. The only thing that really needs some more detailed training for its sales force.

As for the rest, please see below:

- No MBPs or MBs;
- No iMacs;
- No iPhones;
- No iPads;
- No iPods;
- No new servers;
- No xMac;
- No TV sets;
- No new Apple TV;
- No Mac OS X Lion.

And even if Mac Pros were announced, they would just receive some mention on Apple's site.

Has anyone considered the possibilty of APPS for Apple TV?:rolleyes: with a tie-in to a Gaming Console? One of the clues states:

"Employees have had to download gigabytes of data from Apple corporate labeled, “training” in a password-protected zipped folder that won’t accessible to managers or anyone else until Saturday afternoon."

This could imply the release of some device that requires a bit of a quick "tutorial" perhaps?

For the 10th anniversary of their first store, wouldn't Apple want to releae a product that would be something huge, revolutionary dor their STORES??

Maybe a revamped airport / time capsule line with larger hard drives with thunderbolt and USB 3 ports. That wouldn't seem like such a big deal for a media event, but big enough to be a nice surprise for the fanboys. All stores would have to restock the shelves with the new "hardware" and the geniuses would need to be available for install/hook-up hands on training.

iCloud or Lion will surely have a media event, and Mobile me is not "hardware"

Downloading Gigs of software could imply Lion officially on-sale or FCP-X going on sale.... have to load it on the display hardware.... or possibly iWork '11

Lion Training?

This could be training for Mac OX Lion. WWDC is just a few weeks away and it is possible that Lion could be ready by the end of June or early July. It would make sense that they would be training their staff for Lion.

That is a good point! Lion's features are all over the internet now. The new MobileMe is more likely as that could be ready immediately following WWDC.

why hasn't anyone said it yet. The new hardware is.... is... the black curtains to put up! It's just for show so ppl passing by will be like, why is a curtain up? Then they go inside, BAM! Driving ppl inside is the whole purpose.

Maybe they'll have a slogan like, "See, our cloud service actually keep what you do and have on your mac private."

No USB 3 from Apple
Geniuses dont get involved in visuals or hooking up, thats done more by the IS&T team in store.
Training is done by the trainers
Time capsule…no need for an overnight for that!

My money is on iCloud.
