Sounds like they caught a leaker, he panicked, probably threated with legal action by apple unless he sold out all the other leakers.

I would say the move to ARM for all Macs, including the Mac Pro, was not predictable.

meh...The tech blog/podcast world had been talking about a switch to arm for almost a decade.

Between their displeasure with Intel and their success with their own chip designs on iOS, it was pretty obvious that was the direction they would eventually go.

Some riveting stuff upcoming like...

“watch with flat sides to match other products”
“More Macs with Apple chips”
“Another set of AirPods”
“Slightly changed iPhones - again”
“Barely updated iPads....again”
“Some more emojis”
“Less accessories in the box - again”
“New watch bands”
“New pastel shades for Spring”
“Downgrades to Safari...an app which nobody wanted any changes to”
....
“On device surveillance tools”
—- wait...wtf?

:D

There are just so many amazing and unpredictable wildly cool things coming out of Apple...
All of it “ruined” by leakers.

For more than a year, a member of the iPhone leaks and jailbreaking community was actually serving as a "double agent" for Apple by secretly providing the company with information about other leakers, according to Motherboard.
Doesn’t really surprise me.
Apple Global Security isn’t your typical retired-police-officer-come-security-guard type of thing.
A lot of them have Intelligence background or a military background.
mir you think you can play them from your mother’s basement, you are mistaken.

Sounds like some detective work. But, what is Apple going to do with Jon Processor?

This is like Hitman stuff. Apple needs it's own Law Enforcement team and hire some detectives.
Apparently Apple have their own Gestapo on campus. When a supposed breach takes place, campus used to shut down and all employees would be questioned. That’s only on campus at Cupertino though. Most of these leaks are likely originating from other Apple owned or contracted places.

LOL. Let me guess this dude it young. You thought Apple was going to reward you for dirty work!? LOLOLOL. Bruh……. You must be sleepy dude

I was a bit disappointed.

I had hoped Apple actually paid an agent provocateur and orchestrated the whole ting by providing their agent with secrets so he could increase is standing in the leaker community.

And yet here you are, not just consuming but engaging with the rumors and rumor mongers. Kinda calls your judgement into question one way or the other, doesn’t it?
I know it's so weird!

I have been going to MacRumors as my first site of the day for longer than I can remember. I went to Mac rumor sites even before MacRumors existed back in the mid 1990s.

It's a habit. I've never been into sports, but maybe it's like when fans still watch/root for a long-losing sports team?

It's not that I've never liked Apple. I've been fanatical about Apple. Been to store openings, back in college hosted keynote watch parties, etc.

They've just had a long slog of mediocrity.

Good! We hate snitches so that guy deserves to get nothing at the end. Snitches are so despicable. Not to mention he had/could have messed up many other leakers or disrupted this leaking game.

Heh, appropriate name he choose. YoRHa 4e, Nier franchise reference. The "E" series androids were android executioners, they spied on and killed fellow androids. A leaker who ratted out fellow leakers, appropriate.
