My update has not been downloading.

It says:

Requested range not satisfiable.
An error occurred while installing the selected updates.

I tried deleting the update file but the updater keeps hanging around 80% after downloading the file. Any one know where I can just get the update .pkg or alternative ways to install the new beta. Or even how to remove the badge from system preferences.

Thanks!

Just install the Beta Access Utility from the developer downloads page again.
tried that and it downloaded the installer for beta 10 again. then after installing had to update back to beta 11
[doublepost=1536792582][/doublepost]Slightly of topic, but anyone trying Mojave but may want to revert back to High Sierra make sure they download the full installer for HS before 24th as once Mojave comes out HS will probably be removed from App Store and OS’s are no longer included in your purchase section in the App Store.

This doesn't allow you to retrieve the full installer. It simply allows the new software app in system preferences to update the device.

This update has bricked my MBP.

2018 MBP, i9, 32gb. It originally got stuck about 75% on the apple logo loading screen after shutting down. After 2:30 hours, I restarted it. It booted up and let me login, then froze about 75% on the login loading page, then the screen went black. I could move my mouse, but that was it.

I tried resetting PRAM. Didn't fix it. I'm now 2 hours in to doing a reinstall of the OS from Command + R, and it's stuck on a black Apple logo loading screen with a full progress bar. I'm a little bit worried about burn in and leaving it on all night.

Anyone else experiencing this? Other than a hard wipe and reinstall, any ideas?

Hello there!

Would it possible to switch from beta to release channel after 24 September? Or will I have to format?

Cheers guys :)

Just remove the beta updates in settings and you will be updated to the regular version on the 24. If you have not updated to the last GM release before then.

If you had trouble getting the full installer for beta 11 you can try installinstallmacos.py

Here is what it provides me with:

installinstallmacospy.png

and so option 4 will download the full installer for beta 11.

I put more thorough instructions here: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...pport-for-itunes.2126709/page-7#post-26243593

So it's not bricked then?

I know this is a really small, niche bug, but I hope it fixes the print dialog box with Konica Minolta copiers. Some apps have every thing jumbled under a "Printer Features" category, other apps have features separated into categories like "Layout / Finish," "Paper Tray / Output Tray." Having everything under a "Printer Features" makes individual settings hard to find. Might also be a driver issue, but why would it work differently under different apps?

Even though this beta 11 appears as a GM, it's not a GM according to Apple. It is beta 11. So we should see the GM seed next week. There's still hope for Mac Pro 5,1 boot screens. Interestingly, there's no mention of the disabled FileVault and Boot Camp as known issues in the beta 11 release notes. Apple obviously knows it's an issue though.
