He/She already did.

Another option is to reset smc, or safe boot.

Starting up might show where it actually stops.
Oddly enough, it won't let met do either. I try to do SMC and it just boots up normally (no double restart, or safe mode icon). I try'd safe boot and it just boots up normally. Have the commands changed in Mojave?

Don't think so, maybe a wired keyboard will do the trick, but then again, you might have one.

I had something similar before, couldn't do anything except with a wired keyboard.

If you had trouble getting the full installer for beta 11 you can try installinstallmacos.py

Here is what it provides me with:

View attachment 781192

and so option 4 will download the full installer for beta 11.

I put more thorough instructions here: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...pport-for-itunes.2126709/page-7#post-26243593
Just followed your instructions and the options I got were. See Below. when selecting option 5 installer shows building as 18A389.d also the installer version has gone from 14.0.20 to 14.0.21

Did anyone have success with the Python script on MacBook Pro (2018)? I always get an error when installing.

EDIT: This is the error message
Screen Shot 2018-09-18 at 1.24.07 AM.png Screen Shot 2018-09-18 at 1.25.11 AM.png

EDIT 2: My speculation is that the MacBook Pro T2 chip will verify the integrity of the installer app. Since the installer is assembled from various pkgs by the script, it is not digitally signed by Apple, and thus the installation fails to initiate. The only way to install Mojave is to download it from Mac App Store.

I just noticed something strange about beta 11.

It is being offered as a delta AND A COMBO!

This is weird for a pre-release beta.

In the past you had to wait till the first beta of the second point release before a combo was released. For example the first beta of 10.13.2.

But apple have actually released a "combo" of the pre-release beta 11 of 10.14!

I think this will redefine a "combo" - or at least make us rethink what we mean by a "combo".

Not sure if many actually needed it. Most probably just got the delta.

It's possibly got something to do with the fact that beta 11 actually dropped to word "beta".

Everyone was saying something like "it looks like a GM" - but in apple's own documentation they clearly still identify it as a beta.

So I have never referred to it a a GM.

Why is there this apparently deliberate contradiction on apple's part?

Could this "beta" 11 represent something else bridging between betas and GM's?

It certainly has different attributes to previous betas - especially that it exists as a combo too - ALREADY !!! - even before 10.14.2 is released - let alone 10.14.1 or 10.14.0.

For years I asked for full installers for ALL pre-release betas of older systems - and felt ignored because it never happened (although they did release a few of them). But this is something I love about mojave. Apple gave me my wish this time releasing full installers for ALL of them for mojave.

In the past one had to endure the ridiculous task of installing for example 8 delta betas in the correct sequence to be fully up-to date.

At the time I begged for combos - and also suggested that full installers for all betas also be made available - to no avail.

Combos did not appear for previous betas of mojave. Beta 11 is the first time this has happened. So they certainly have not been as consistent with combos as they have been with full installers.

So it is interesting that there is a "combo" of beta 11 - whatever that means.

Here are the files for the beta 11 "combo":

I highly doubt it'll be delayed... I don't see to many bugs in beta 11 to be honest, but my start time has really lagged in this Beta but that's all I've really noticed

I finally watched the keynote in the Steve Jobs theater. When they were talking about how they want everyone to get the most out of their iOS devices and then hand them to Apple and they would repurposed or recycle them.
The thought came to mind they Apple does not do this with macOS. If they were so inclined to let everyone get the most out of their devices and save the environment then they should release Mojave for all their computers starting with the first Intel desktops and laptops.
Some of us have accomplished this in El Captain using help from Piker file. But I thought how easy it would be for Apple to provide a kernel that would be compatible with all their desktops. Sure we would understand that performance would slower on older units but it would allow all desktops and laptops to get the maximum life and then hand it in to Apple when the device fails for recycling.

I thought the recycle stuff was really more for marketing to the tree huggers. Telling them to go ahead and buy a new iPhone and don't feel guilty as their old iphone won't go to the landfill. With that Apple has a bigger excuse not to support old devices which will sell more phones.

I would guess with no Updates out by now the well have to wait Till Monday for the final product, Probably on Tuesday we will get macOS 10.14.1 beta 1. Once 10.14 is officially released if YOU DO NOT WANT to continue receiving the ".~ " updates then make sure you set your machine NOT to receive further beta Updates. Set it to Restore Defaults. "Public Beta would be the same but instead of Developer it would State Public Beta"
