After an update, it keeps telling me a new update (the same beta) is available. I have done more than three times so far. Still new update is available..;;

It's not actually installing. I have the same issue. The phone just reboots. The Developer portal is giving me a page not found error when I try to download it through there to update with iTunes. Cleary something is wrong.

Anyone else having an issue with installing beta 5 ? My iPhone & iPad both download & says it’s installing but they just restart without installing the update.

“Edit” just saw people do have the same issue how odd

The same thing is happening on both my iPhone and Apple TV, downloads and restarts, but they never install after the restart.

Whatever you do DO NOT, if you have developer access, download the build and try to update with iTunes. Just completely bricked my phone and i have to restore everything.

It seems a lot of us are experiencing this update issue. It won't install, just restarts and tells me an update is available.

Reported to Apple.

Cool, not the only person with issues installing. Wish I hadn’t had to scroll through 7 pages of the typical inane nonsense to find the relevant posts.

For things like this, I just skip to the last page of comments and usually find the pertinent information (in this case: yes, other people are unable to install it as well). If it's not on the last page, I'll back up one page. Invariably, I'll find what I'm looking for.

I only do the OTA updates, it’s quciker & easier. But thanks for the heads up

Is this for the developer version or the public beta? I had no issues at all with the developer install on my 8+.

Both the Public & Dev updates. Got dev Beta 4 on my iPhone 7+ & Public Beta 4 on my iPad Mini 4 both do the same thing when trying to update to Beta 5

I have to say that I love my iPhone and iPad and I'm not one to piss and moan about issues in the new operating systems. That said, this is the first time for me that there are bugs that, while not earth shattering, definitely take away from the experience. And to be honest the problems are ones that probably shouldn't happen. The calculator is a good example, my iMessages do this weird bounce if they're more than a couple lines and the lock screen not showing the time and day seem like things that probably shouldn't have gotten messed up. I'm hopeful that with the release of 11.1 those problems will be resolved and if not I'm sure they're working on them for future release but for now they're irritating.

Edit: FWIW, I did a hard reset and it seemed to resolve the lock screen issue but we'll see if it lasts.

Same deal here with beta 5 on iPhone 8 with b4 installed. Installed OTA, rebooted, and still reports that beta 5 is available.

I had no issues installing it on my iPad. 12.9 inch 2017.
Are people actually bitching that things don't work right in a beta? Not the download and install all the other silly complaints.

I just went to the Apple Store and they are having issues with verification on install, iTunes getting stuck on restores. This has nothing to do with the beta. This is a system issue on Apple's end that they're fixing. This is an issue for ALL iOS versions.

Best beta so far. Very fluid and smooth, battery seems more stable too.
