No, that wasn't the issue - IMO if you don't know, don't guess or you're wasting our time. I called Apple and asked what was causing the "loop", using my dev account credentials. Apple's activation servers were not working properly - their servers are now working properly, the issue with the installation/certification of their profiles has been resolved.
Ok Mr. Dev... I m really sorry Mr. Dev...
I really glad tha you have a dev account...

By the way I saw that in apple support forum... I m not guessing ok?

You keep insisting it works, but it doesn't. Stop downplaying the issue. And you keep emphasizing it happens when you type at "quickly". The bug can be easily replicated when typing normally, not just quickly, see video below.

Strange how I and really anyone can get the right answer nonetheless. So clearly the calculator functionality works, but there are usability issues with how it works.

I think it would be pretty important to have buttons actually work when you press them and not turn off all input until each button press animation is finished.

I'm so glad I never updated to iOS 11. It's the new iOS 9.

Or iOS 10, or 8, or 7, etc.

Apparently as long as you get the correct answer once in a while that means its working. o_O

From what I've seen I honestly don't expect it to be pushed until October 1st at least.

It is true though. It depends on the speed you type. Not that it isn't an issue that does need fixed of course but I've been on all the 11.1 betas and use my calculator almost daily and didn't see the issue until I saw somebody else mention it. I'd be typing in dollar amounts with enough type looking back and forth on an app it didn't continuously type and mess up.
November*? But eh I wouldn’t be so sure about that. It has the KRACK fix. Needs to be pushed ASAP

Beginning of November is just a week away.
I was correcting him, as he said October. And tbh, if Windows can get a patch the day of, Apple should be able to as well. At least the same week.

My profession is cyber security, and I can tell you “a week away” is a week too long.

Then we'll be hearing all the whining about Apple releasing so many updates and people getting tiring of installing them and ignoring them.

We already hear that. May as well fix a major exploit while they’re at it.

Interesting how after all that you liked a post that basically said the same type of things that I said: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...p-wont-get-you-6.2080073/page-5#post-25271015

Yes, very interesting and shocking how your pedantry of inviting that it “works” doesn’t match up with the majority opinion. It’s ****ing broken. Nobody is questioning Apple’s ability to write an algorithm that performs addition, but clearly they’ve shipped a broken app that, while it may internally be able to add properly, doesn’t actually do so when used. And don’t even start with the “well, if you tap really slowly”, because hardly anyone would ever use it that way. It’s an infuriating and embarrassing bug and deserves none of your attempts to downplay it.

Not screaming and stomping about it at every chance, and jumping on the bandwagon of Apple being horrible and doomed doesn't mean that something is being downplayed.

And, yes, quite interesting that the same type of things that I've said got a like from someone who found them to be practically outrageous and even somehow offensive when I brought them up. Based on this response and earlier ones it seems that it all likely simply stems from one small and shallow thing: that simply observations and comments were made, but without a healthy dose of Apple bashing being injected into it all.

Steve Jobs would have fired, or whipped someone over this type of ridiculous thing, a calculator that doesn't work. Unbelieveable.

He wouldn't have sit down and started coming up with possibilities and excuses and reasons of why you can't do 1 + 2 + 3. Would he? We want that kind of healthy Apple. Not the one you seem to be depicting.
