I'm surprised and unimpressed that it has taken them this many years to devise a solution for such an obvious feature.
Supposedly Apple responded to someone that removing the 3D touch app switcher was not a bug. It's possible for it to get re-added, but seems like Apple is intentionally moving away from that. My guess is iPhone 8 will use a different app switcher (since it won't have a home button) and so Apple is removing the 3D touch method to avoid confusion. I'm also guessing that they have statistics on how many people actually use it, and it's probably close to nil...No, but that I can cope with better than them still not putting the 3D Touch app switcher back. Yeah, beta, blah blah. But for Christ’s sake that shouldn’t be left out, there was bugger all wrong with it in the first place.
Unless they’re planning some awesome new variation on it. In which case, get yer arses in gear and get it in the beta![]()
iOS 11 is available for both registered developers and public beta testers and will see another month of testing ahead of a prospective September release date alongside new iPhones.
Has the camera always had a spirit level when you hold it horizontally (i.e. as if you're taking a photo of a document laid out flat on a table) or is this something new in iOS 11?
Has anyone been running iOS 11 on an SE? Curious how it runs. I have it on my iPP and have been tempted to do my phone as well, but I was waiting for some of the bugs to be ironed out.
I do have a Watch if it makes any difference, I think I read the first few beta had Watch connectivity issues. But i wouldn't want to put the Beta on my watch.
Has it been release to public beta testers? Not showing up on my iPad 2.

I’m unable to install Apple's own non-mandatory apps on both iPhone 7 and iPad Pro 10.5”. The iPhone is restoring a back-up as I wanted to free up space taken by the 'System' storage bug that has carried over from Beta 4, but this is worse because I now can’t access the majority of the stock apps.
I tried downloading an Apple app I don’t have (Home) on the iPad and it states that it is unable to install, so it doesn’t seem as though it’s isolated to the iPhone, and as far as I can tell, it looks like the only way around it for the time being is by setting up as new.
That one shows up after you pair an Apple Watch if I'm not mistaken. That worked for the most part... The only App that doesn't seem to download still is Activity. I guess I can get by without that for the time being.
If you're trying to get back the Apple Watch app from the App Store because you previously deleted it, you won't be able to. Reset and setup as new phone is only way to get those back. The Apple stock apps in the App Store are the iOS 10 variants, not the pre-release ones. If you delete stock apps on iOS 11, only way to recover is full reset and new setup.just got apple iPhone after I downloaded new update. Apple Watch app won't download or it appears on screen as shaded, won't install in App Store, please help

Really? I’ve done a clean install of each beta and this is first time that’s popped up everCool feature but it's been there for a while.
Tried unpairing watch and re-pairing it to see if it comes back?It does, but the problem is that it didn't update with the restore, so it won't run, nor will the download from the App Store download.

Looks the exact same lol
Wonder if they have fixed the DONE button when you have taken a screenshot on the 7p
That was in the previous one too.As someone who uses BT audio all day switching between my iMac at work, iPhone, and iPad Pro at home—I'm really glad they took my suggestion of making it faster to switch audio sources in Control Center. In this new update, it looks like there's a little icon on the corner of the now playing panel that you can tap to change audio sources.
