Apple Seeds Fifth Beta of iOS 12 to Developers [Updated]

My iPhone 6S plus crashes (black screen with white circle spinner in the center) about 8 times a day so I hope that this build fixes whatever is going on.

The biggest problem I have encountered is that song shuffle does not work - it shuffles two songs and then switches to the top of the playlist and starts playing songs in order. I have heard A-Ha's Take Me On far too many times now.

It's a beta, which by definition means it is not stable and should not be used on any devices that you rely on.

Anybody here having huge issues with AirPlay in the public beta? I stupidly enrolled our household iPad and now it has all kinds of issues. It plays fine once connected, but once the music stops it will almost immediately disconnect from our AirPort Express, so I have to re-select it. And on many occasions, it simply stops being able to see the APE at all until the iPad is restarted. It's also having occasional trouble airplaying to our 4th Gen Apple TV.

My iPhone X camera hasn’t been working since beta 3. It locks up 90% of the time and a large section of the screen turns purple. Anyone else have this problem?

No problems or issues on my Air 2. Even my battery seems to perform better.

I'd argue that performance improvement and optimization is the main feature of iOS 12, which is something that has long been requested. I'd rather have that than a bunch of half baked features.

I also couldn't care less about animoji, but if it makes some people happy, who am I to judge.

Nonsense. It’s more stable then iOS 11 ever was.

That's not bricked. Bricked means the phone has to be replaced and cannot be restored. It's only useful as a brick, hence the name.

Really dislike the way MR runs old videos with new articles. I keep inadvertently re-watching videos I've already watched and don't realize it until about a minute in. Would be nice if there was a note in the summary graph about the video being a repeat.

The speed is back in beta 5! Beta 4 was bad...will see the next days if it gets warm as in beta 4.

Today I got really annoying problem in safari. All safari tabs vanish and I can't open new ones like before. New tabs not open in bookmarks or websites links anymore. Safari settings are same as before, and I make also factory reset too, not helping. I use beta 4, and I really hope beta 5 resolve that problem.

Any one else have that kind problem before?

I was just telling my wife today this past beta on my iPhone was a tad bit wonky and Apple was sure to release a new beta soon public release tomorrow

Fair. Store was going to do work on it, but it was going to be like 3 hours before they could get to me so i just kept trying.

iphone 8+ seems a tad more laggy than v.4. V3 was more laggy, then it got better in v4, now back to a bit more laggy. Not as bad as v3, but still backwards.

also, battery seem to be going a tad faster. Like 5% per hour faster.

Wasn't showing up for me, either.

I had to reinstall the iOS 12 dev profile. After I did that (and reboot the phone), I was able to grab this current dev beta.
