I am simply sick of all these updates. It's completely absurd and would be unnecessary if apple knew how write good and dependable code. But it's bug after bug after bug. The only beneficiary of this is this board as it gives all of you loads to moan and groan about. But for us regular users, it's a nightmare. Spending day after day updating all my devices and then discovering that a new bug was introduced that will require another update. If Steve were still alive, this wouldn't be happening. I'm going to buy a pc and the new pixel phone right now. I'm done with apple forever.

Kind of like what you're doing now?? If you've been an iOS user for sometime now, I suggest waiting a while before downloading an update.

The front page says Emergency Contacts can be contacted automatically if you use SOS on Apple Watch or iPhone. I have that now on 10.1.1. That was included in 10.0.1, no?

Same old bugs and gui issues from ios9 and 10.0 and 10.1 are there, re-submitting them with more details again i guess.

Any hope it will fix the many many many issues with the Apple Music app on iPhone. Signed up to Spotify so as not to screw up my music with Apple Music which changed my correct artwork for the wrong artwork and randomly deleted songs from my phone. Beginning to hate Apple

I don't get it, the new wallpapers are the bubble ones from the iPhone 7 event? Or the colourful fractal art from the "hello again" event?

It looks as though the animation for when closing an app is different. Not sure if I like it. It closes into the icon itself with a weird animation... It might not be new but I'm just noticing it now.

These are from the iPhone 7 event. A lot of people were upset when they didn't come with iOS 10 and I assume Apple heard the complaints and decided to offer them. I, like you, am not the biggest fan of these. But I know a lot of other people will be happy.
Makes you laugh. The provide the wallpapers when people complain but they don't fix the iCloud push email that is broken!

At least, star ratings are back and can be turned on in the Music settings.

Update: There's also a new option to sort playlists and albums from inside the Music app.

I love this wallpaper except that black bagrounds turn folders and the dock gray. If the background was clear or black this would be awesome.

Hate to break it to you but every PC vendor has bugs. Good luck with the devil you don't know

Does anyone have an info about dark mode in 10.2?
Doubt it's coming in IOS 10, with the rumored screen changes coming on the next iPhone you'll see it then. Of course it will be exclusive to that device because that's what Apple does.

Honestly, in today's high tech world it is simply not possible to write perfect code.

These systems are billions of lines long, written by thousands of people. There is always bound to be errors, it is just the current state of the software world.

Most feel Apple will never implement dark mode. But one can wonder.
What would be Apple's reasoning for not implementing a dark mode? I've seen it done before on a jailbroken device. You would think the more options the better...you would think!

Because there is no consistent way to do it. The jailbreak tweaks don't look good at all and its scattered across various apps. Until a consistent implementation can be made, it will not exist.

How would you propose it to be implemented? I cannot get a single user that wants it to explain how it could work.

C DM is the only one to offer a possible starting point by using inverse colors.
