Because they don't use the same system-on-a-chip as the Intel machines do. Anything the Intel machines do is really not relevant. But can't the 2020 base Intel MBP run two monitors natively? And that machine only has two USB-C ports? I don't get why the M1 can't natively?
As there's no consistency with the way messages are deleted between iOS and macOS, I also wish they'd add an "undo" function.Wish they'd restore the one-click-to-delete functionality to Messages (as in Catalina), or the ability to delete several conversations at once (as on my iPhone). As it is, it's a major pain to delete the dozens of spam texts I get every day. AARGH... (Okay, first-world problem, but still...)
So you don't reinstall Catalina because...?Perhaps with this release, we will yet again be on par with Catalina… can't believe what a downgrade Bug Sur has been.
...They did?it's about time they release 11.2. I want my APP privacy back. Fix what they broke.
you forgot to include "with added hardware"Absolutely false. I'm running 3 4K displays off the mini and a 4K airplay. It's just fine.
Options to select a snooze time are still not there. This looks to be a deliberate simplification, to ensure macOS is as dumb as iOS when it comes to options.Does anyone know if snoozing calendar notifications works yet?
What are these new "customization options" in Safari?
Really? Did you see the video where they hooked up something like 6. I know what it says, but……That's a hardware limitation, not a software one.
… cuz I had the naive belief that Apple would fix these obvious and rudimentary bugs. And because I don't have the now unsigned installer, and because it is a major hassle. So you don't reinstall Catalina because...?
They are using DisplayLink which a driver simulates a graphics card and sends compressed video over USB to a DisplayLink dock/adapter which connects to the actual display. Performance is not so good especially when running something graphically demanding you will notice choppiness and latency.Really? Did you see the video where they hooked up something like 6. I know what it says, but……
Many pardons if I am not believing you, but that is very contrary to my experience. Smooth fast and no bugs I’ve found yet. So is it something else you are running that I’m not that is interfering?I just hope it gets faster. Clean install on an '18 MacBook Pro w/32 GB of RAM and it's the slowest, buggiest OS update since OS X.
I think it's you that needs to fix your system. I've never experienced such a problem and I have two Macs on Big Sur.Fix Safari already, Apple.
Give us a way to turn off website icons so I don't get the spinning beach ball every time I click on bookmarks. Better yet, just fix the issue. Getting fed up with Apple
