Same here. Firefox/Brave/Chrome/Edge gives me kernel panics. Random kernel panics in other apps, so stay away if you can if on Macbook Pro M1 Max. Used Safari and Windows in Parallels for a few hours as a fallback, but highly unstable ?

I'm seeing some massive differences in smoothness and performance with this version... for the better that is! It's feels like it's finally back to what I was seeing in Big Sur and that's no small feat! All the little lags I was seeing in Monterey, especially in Safari are starting to get quashed finally and I love to see it.
Seems smoother on my 2021 MBP too. Hopefully it will stay this way.

Think long and hard about that… I remember the Longhorn betas and then Vista being the absolute worst piece of garbage ever, bar none.
There’s no doubt vista was pretty crap but a sizeable portion of it has to do with that OS being a similar footprint as a 2022 OS but they were putting it on early 2000s hardware that had 512 mb and 1gb ram with barely a dual core processor. For context, the previous OS ran fine on a P1 233MHz and 128M of RAM. GPUs could barely power the aero interface too.

I remember getting a brand new laptop and it ran like a dog out of the box. With 1gb, the RAM usage was 70%+ with nothing loaded. Upgraded it to 3gb ram and it ran so much better. The pop ups were annoying but I don’t remember too many show stopping bugs for basic tasks. (E.g. control center eating 80gb ram) SP1 and Win7 made it even better too and i completely forgot about the OS.

OMG. Did I somehow miss that capability... how do you hide signatures here?

on a subsequent reboot into Safe Mode a popup window came up which showed me that Plex Media Server was the culprit. After disabling that from starting on boot my system is behaving normally now. I appreciate the assist.
Are you able to use PMS without any KP's launching it after booting up?

Are you on the release channel or the beta track / nightly builds?
Nightly builds. The one I removed was Little Snitch 5.4 nightly (6248) released 31 March. I have a Support Ticket in to Objective Development.

Good to know, thanks! I've been wanting to move to iPadOS 15.5, but have been unsure about macOS 12.4.
This just made my decision easier ?

iPadOS 15.5 seems very solid with no issues so far. macOS 12.4 is a different story. I have also noted Commander One fails to open on macOS 12.4. All to be expected with beta software.

The question is whether it will finally fix the AirPlay bug that is causing problems on M1 iMacs. Several updates have already passed and there are no changes. Very bad. I've been using Linux for 20 years and when I set it up, it worked. Now that the whole family has made the transition to the Apple ecosystem, I can’t accept that AirPlay works on all devices except the M1 iMac (by all I mean 3 iPhones, 2 iPads, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air) I just find it silly that when I sit and i'm doing something on iMac i have to use ipad to listen to music via airplay on homepod speakers.

FYI! OD said "install the latest release build of Little Snitch, version 5.3.2. With this version we could not reproduce the crashes." The current nightly build is a different story.
