True, but do you think the thread would have existed if Apple actually delivered what they promised? I never saw a 40+ page thread about iOS 8.4.1 performance issues.
That's a fair way of describing it.You make a confusing point.
Let me be more clear:
iOS 7 sucked in terms of performance, so people were complaining.
iOS 8 sucked in terms of performance, so people were complaining.
iOS 9 sucks in terms of performance, so people are complaining.
The people are complaining because the .0 released performs/performed badly, not because they are OCD or seeing things that aren't there.
Easy, 1GB of RAM was very deliberate.Cue the people asking if every single feature on their wishlist is somehow in this version of iOS, then being disappointed that Apple can't read their minds...
Explain why Apple "planned" to make the 6s and 6s Plus obsolete right of the box.
Hint- it's not planned obsolescence. In the case of the 6 Plus, it's underpowered graphics hardware combined with a terribly optimized OS.
How is it a terribly optimized OS? I thought Apple put in a lot of effort optimizing it for the 6+.
Easy, 1GB of RAM was very deliberate.
Case closed.

That's in Safari. Now it would be in apps that use Safari Web View as well.I'm confused because I'm running 9.1 and when I hold the refresh button I already see load without content blockers option. This feature already is there along with request desktop version.
What about 8.0, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4? Every iOS ever, is the worst thing ever, until the next iOS. Which, of course, is worse. 8.4.1 was never any paragon of virtue or perfection -- Rather critics just conveniently and selectively forget prior problems in order to prop up their latest diatribe. I mean, didn't 8.4 introduce Apple Music -- Changing the Music app layout, removing buttons, adding new ones? Throngs were saying they'd never upgrade because they want to choose their own music sorting buttons at the bottom. Didn't it delete playlists, add DRM, and screw over music collections? Oh, and who could forget:True, but do you think the thread would have existed if Apple actually delivered what they promised? I never saw a 40+ page thread about iOS 8.4.1 performance issues.
Argh! iOS 8 the worst ever!! I hate it...
iOS 7 is the worst version of iOS to date.
iOS6 is probably the most underwhelming release of iOS to date
Is iOS5 the "buggiest" iOS yet?
Negative Reactions to iPhone OS 4.0 / New Features
Kind of underwhelmed with 3.0
iPhone Firmware 2.0: It's just a disaster
Give it a little while and check back. Mine will do that when there is an update that went back to pending but shows completed or no update. It should, in time, clear with the option to run the update again.Installed. No issues for the time being. And no mentioned new features. The only annoying is that it appeared 1 count on the App Store but no real updates inside. I restarted the phone - but this 1 is still. Any idea how to remove it ?

What update ? I check - no update available. How can run the update again?Give it a little while and check back. Mine will do that when there is an update that went back to pending but shows completed or no update. It should, in time, clear with the option to run the update again.
Am I the only one who hasn't experiencing lag of iOS 9 or 9.1? I've run it on a 6 plus, 6s plus and an iPad Air 2. Hell even the wife is running it on a Mini 2 and a 5s.
Or are we just in the minority who don't sit there with a stopwatch counting the microseconds difference and moaning about it?
Do you need UDID registration to install this beta?
Same feelings here, I expected iOS 9.1 to either maintain or improve on the speed of iOS 8.4.1. But it turns out that's not the case. All of my devices updated to iOS 9.1 are obviously slower than before. It's strange how the world's most valuable company can't assure their software quality matches their top notch hardware industrial design.
In the case of the 6 Plus, it's underpowered graphics hardware combined with a terribly optimized OS.
I can see why that's the reason, and I'm not doubting that it is. But... is it really *that* intensive? iOS 7 and 8 never had this problem, at least not anywhere near the extent that iOS 9 does. It's also all that crazy realtime blur. There's a reason no one else was doing blur to that degree before
