I reported the same issue I've reported since Day ONE of El Capitan...
Lack of support of allegedly supported Double sided USB to Thunderbolt cables.
These cables often cause the entire Bluetooth and Thunderbolt connection system to just shut down.
That means no IPhone, no Bluetooth until the Mac is completely SHUT DOWN. Reboot won't even fix it.
This is very annoying after buying an Apple Supported cable that crashes virtually your whole Mac daily. Apple doesn't seem concerned because it's only 3rd party to them, but I'm pissed about all these reports filed to no avail.

The inability to upgrade to El Capitan successfully is also a major problem. The migration program scrambles your email database. I lost email server info, accounts, emails, etc, etc etc. This has never been fixed and I've never found a way to upgrade perfectly from Mavericks or Yosemite without my MAIL being severely damaged. This is why I keep both other operating systems on my Mac Pro.

Also FaceTime still doesn't accept my Apple ID. Everything else does, but not FaceTime. Dunno why.

I still tell people. If everything works fine in Mavericks and there is nothing you want in Yosemite or El Capitan, don't upgrade.
As for Yosemite, that was an Apple disaster for me. It would always boot to a blank TV display instead of my Mac display. Just a terrible release that should have never happened.

OS X ransomware.

Is this the nMP u are talking about??

Hoping for that too. This problem occurs almost every day on my rMBP, it annoys the hell out of me!

I even emailed Tim Cook about it and have heard nothing. As someone who uses YouTube daily for work, it's incredibly frustrating to have to remember to use Firefox or chrome when I need to use YouTube!

Steve is rolling in his grave! Why so many betas? When Steve was alive there have been no beta releases.

Still rocking my Jaguar iMac G4! Stable as hell! Apple is going down the drain.

Now where is my Bull cassette cartridge.

I still have a PowerMac G5 with upgraded ATI X800 graphics that runs for 6 months without a freeze or crash.
This is not possible in Yosemite or El Capitan. Something would bring the system down in weeks if not days or hours for sure. :(

No, a supported 2000s Mac Pro, not the Darth Vader type. :)

same here, dude!

But I heard rumors of a 3 GHz G5 to be released within the next 12 months! Thinking of upgrading then!

On a serious note though: My MacBook isn't freezing under El Capitan at all. On the contrary, it's running surprisingly hot and quite a bit slower than before... not to mention battery life.. so yeah, I'm really tempted to install the beta...

What ist the patch listed with the delta update in the direct links? It's 303 MB and requires a reboot. Do I have to install it before or after the Update? App Store was too slow.

Edit: I already installed it before, after the Firmware Update, I hope that was not wrong.

Edit 2: Seems that patch is also the Delta Update. I am on 15F18b now.

Edit 3: I'll rather install the Combo Update on top.

Fingers crossed that they finally fix gpu crashes on 2011 iMac's ... i had to downgrade to Yosemite :(

Try this.
Goto /System/Library/ and move the folder IdentityServices to the desktop. Reboot, and then try FaceTime. can you log in ?

This solved the same problem for me.

If not remove the new IdentityServices and put the old one back.

Something odd happened on my 2012 Mac Mini.
I always update manually (it's faster), let the Appstore download the update, next navigate to /Library/Updates/folder with a number, and opened those 2 files to update, Appstore will ask in Notification centre to update, I click on remind me tomorrow and after Installer finishes I restart.
I navigate back to the Updates Folder right after I restarted to delete the update files, they were gone, that never happens after a manual Install, even stranger, there were now 2 Folders with different. Pkg files, one was something like kext10.11 and the other I can't remember.
I wanted to post a screenshot but I was to late, they both vanished.

The patch file is just a smaller download than the delta in case your computer doesn't need the full delta. It is rarely needed. Almost always you need the full delta. For older versions (i.e. 10.11-10.11.3) you need the combo.

So if you are updating from 10.11.4 it is safer to install the full delta, not the patch file and you won't need the combo.

I always download the combo but usually install with the delta because they are faster.

The kext one was for AppleKextExcludeList_10_11.pkg which is not part of these betas. It came out yesterday.

Does Mail.app finally support TLS1.2? I was shocked to find out Mail was stuck on TLS1.0 from 1999! http://www.openradar.me/22758677

Especially now whistleblowers have shown that attacks on encryption come from so many (well funded) angles while more and more people sit on public Wifi it's more important than ever to encrypt your IMAP traffic.

Wow, that was one of the major reasons I upgraded to 10.11. I just assumed new Mail was currently secure.

Looks like this OS only goes to 10.

No change in Disk Utility. Why can't they manage to allow resizing the window or the sidebar, there are even arrows for that in the sidebar since forever....

I am not even sure how they managed to do that. Standard Cocoa controls all do this by default. Windows are resizable, fullscreen mode works by and ‘source lists’ (sidebars) can be widened. They must have purposely prevented all those things, haphazardly. :/
